Yes, the Jetta is a nice car — it's a German-engineered compact sedan with grown-up refinement, a roomy rear seat, and standard IQ.DRIVE driver assist. A 1.5L turbo four-cylinder pairs with an eight-speed automatic, and the handling stays composed and predictable. If you're browsing Volkswagen car rental options, the Jetta brings polish to everyday driving.
You can book a Jetta from a local vehicle owner on Turo, the car rental marketplace, and arrange pickup or delivery to fit your plans. Pick your dates, choose a listing, and you're set — whether it's a weekday commute or a weekend away.

The Jetta pairs strong fuel economy with enough punch for highway miles. Its 1.5L TSI turbo four-cylinder makes 158 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, sending power through an eight-speed automatic to the front wheels. Expect up to 34 mpg combined — good news for your fuel budget on a long road trip.
Every Jetta trim comes with IQ.DRIVE, so you get a full driver-assist suite no matter which listing you book. Adaptive cruise control keeps a set gap to the car ahead, and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking watches for sudden slowdowns. Lane-keep assist and blind-spot monitoring help you hold your lane and merge with confidence.
Travel Assist and Emergency Assist round out the package — handy on long interstate stretches and in stop-and-go traffic. If you're weighing compact sedans, getting this much tech on the base trim is a strong reason to pick the Jetta.
The Jetta seats five, and its rear seat rivals some midsize sedans for space — your back-seat passengers will notice. That extra legroom matters when you're carpooling to work or picking up friends at the airport. Two-zone Climatronic automatic climate control lets the driver and front passenger each set their own temperature, so nobody has to compromise.
Out back, the 14.1 cu ft trunk makes room for luggage, groceries, or weekend bags. It's a practical setup for weekend getaways, family visits, and road trips where everyone brings a bag.
The Jetta fits almost any plan for up to five people — daily commutes, airport runs, road trips, and city errands. Its compact size makes parking easier, and up to 34 mpg combined stretches every tank. Compare it with other compact sedan rentals on Turo and you'll see why it's such a smart, grown-up pick.

Every Jetta comes with an eight-inch Digital Cockpit behind the wheel and a floating eight-inch infotainment touchscreen on the dash. Wireless App-Connect brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the screen, so your maps, playlists, and messages show up without a cable. Two 45W USB-C ports up front keep phones charged on longer drives.
On the SEL, the 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro offers up to four views, including full-screen navigation right in front of you. It's a welcome upgrade in an unfamiliar city, where turn-by-turn directions stay in your line of sight.
The Jetta got a redesigned dashboard for 2025, built around a clean three-bar design that hides the passenger-side vent. The result is a tidier, more modern cabin that feels a step above typical compact sedan fare.
Outside, full LED exterior lighting comes standard on every trim — crisp headlights and taillights that look sharp and help you see after dark. If you're choosing between listings, a 2025 or 2026 model year gets you the updated dashboard and the latest look.
Step up to the SEL and the Jetta adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Driving Mode Selection lets you switch between Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Custom settings to suit the drive — relaxed or a little livelier.
Wireless charging comes on SE trims and above, so you can set your phone on the pad and go. Features vary by listing, so check the details before you book — especially if a sunroof or cooled seats top your wish list.

The car was clean, easy pick up and return, would definitely rent again from Arutyan again! :)

Great car and very friendly host .. I would definitely rent the car again if I come to LA another time.

Beautiful car and easy communication. Pick up and return were seamless!
Santiago was an amazing host! Very flexible and quick to respond. Would be happy to rent from him again anytime. The car worked great!
Host was amazing and so communicative. I would 10/10 rent this car again. It drove really smooth and he was nice and made the process really seamless.

Great car, as advertised. Instructions were clear. Alex is friendly and responsive. Would definitely rent from him again.

Another great experience booking with this host. This car was INCREDIBLE on gas. I drove around the world for my side business and the gas needle barely moved. The car was super comfortable and I was able to connect android auto. The host was always prompt to questions and concerns. I already have new dates lined up to rent again. Listen these cars are older but you do not feel or see that when driving. Now I'm worried I'm letting the cat out the bag and the car won't be available anymore lol.
Amazing host. Was there for any questions. Car was beautiful. This host will take care of you like family 💯🙌🏽🙏🏽

Incredible host. Very quick responses and genuine. Car was true to the pictures and a great experience. Easy pick up and drop up. Highly recommend and I will be renting with Santiago again!
Older car for a quality price. When there was an issue with the spark plugs (I rented for a long time, not a maintenance issue) Santiago reimbursed me in seconds, not minutes!

Check the year and trim on the listing before you book, since screens and comforts vary by trim. Every Jetta covers the essentials, while the SEL adds the larger Digital Cockpit Pro, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
