Would definitely use again, have used multiple times in the past and he is absolutely awesome! Car was great thank you!

Best car and best deal I've ever had from Turo. Reasonable price, older but low mileage and spotless car and convenient lock box delivery to airport. Owner couldn't have been nicer. I hope car will be available again next summer.
AJ was an excellent host! The car was fantastic! I very much enjoyed my trip easy start/pick up easy finish/drop off
Car was exactly as described with no issues, pickup was extremely easy and Joel was responsive and made it a very easy process. I would absolutely rent again.
Great little car for our road trip. For our first time using Turo Cohen was very patient and explained everything. Answered all our questions and all around chill dude. About the Yaris Pros: Smooth ride Able to drive long distances (we put on about 4k miles) Great sound system, lots of bass! Good avg. Mile per gallon Cheap to fill up from empty (never spend more the 35$ on a fill up)...God what even is 2025.... Good trunk room (was able to put all 3 of our luggage in the trunk and some long boxes with the folding seats, as long as your reasonable about your luggage size you shouldn't have a problem) Cons Biggest con for a road trip. NO CRUISE CONTROL. If you can live with that this is is a good car. Watch out for wind. Driving the Missouri and Indiana we fought the wind the whole time and felt it. Car struggled with that one. Only one key, be careful. The key only seems to work on the driver door? Can't seem to get it to unlock the trunk. Not a big issue though. Do not be fooled by that IPOD slot. It takes a proprietary cable. Don't worry though there is a headphone jack near the passenger side. Might want a FM transmitter though as not many things use AUX cables anymore. She is very weak on the flooring. Good initial kick off from stop, but if you need to pass on the highway or get up to speed you might be waiting a second. Personal favorite. I loved the drink holders

The car was great, the pickup was the easiest rental I've ever experienced. Convenient location and the host was great!
The car was clean and and problem free. I would recommend Joel's rental service.
Reliable little car and very nice people to work with. This is my second rent with them, and I will rent with them again

Second time renting this car and I would rent again anytime. Car was clean as it was the first time. Ran smooth. Great on gas. Once again the host was attentive with messages. If you're in this area and need a reliable car with a host that you can count on this would be the my recommendation.

Dover offers a gateway to New Hampshire's breathtaking scenery. The Kancamagus Highway, starting near Conway, provides a stunning drive through the White Mountain National Forest. This route is especially beautiful during fall foliage season. For a coastal experience, take Route 1A along the seacoast, passing through charming towns like Rye and Hampton. The Lakes Region Scenic Byway offers picturesque views of Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding mountains. When exploring these routes, consider renting an SUV for comfort and versatility. Remember to check local weather forecasts before embarking on your scenic drive, as conditions can change quickly in New Hampshire's diverse terrain.
Navigating Dover's peak hour traffic requires some planning. Avoid rush hours, typically 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays, especially on major routes like the Spaulding Turnpike. Consider using alternative routes such as Back River Road or Durham Road to bypass congestion. Dover's downtown area can get busy, so plan your trips accordingly. Utilizing a rental car with GPS navigation can help you find the best routes in real-time. If possible, schedule your drives outside peak hours to enjoy a smoother journey. Remember, Dover's compact size means traffic usually clears quickly compared to larger cities. Staying informed about local events or road works can also help you plan your drives more efficiently.
For exploring Dover and the White Mountains, versatile vehicles are ideal. An SUV rental offers comfort for city driving in Dover and capability for mountain roads. If you're planning extensive mountain exploration, consider a vehicle with all-wheel drive for better traction on varied terrain. For couples or solo travelers, a compact car might suffice for city use and provide better fuel efficiency. However, if you're visiting during winter, an SUV or vehicle with winter tires is highly recommended due to potential snow and ice. In summer, a convertible could be a fun option for scenic drives along the coast or through the mountains. Whatever your choice, ensure your rental car is well-suited for both Dover's city streets and the region's diverse landscapes.
Downtown Dover offers several convenient parking options for visitors. The Orchard Street Parking Garage provides ample spaces and is centrally located. On-street parking is available throughout the downtown area, with many spots offering free two-hour parking. The Transportation Center on Chestnut Street also has a public lot. For longer stays, consider the First Street or Third Street lots. When parking downtown, always check signage for any time restrictions or payment requirements. During busy periods or events, arriving early can help secure a spot. Remember to lock your rental car and avoid leaving valuables visible. Dover's compact downtown makes it easy to park once and explore the area on foot, enhancing your visit to this charming New Hampshire city.
When driving around Dover and New Hampshire, be prepared for toll roads. The Spaulding Turnpike, connecting Dover to Portsmouth and Rochester, is the primary toll road in the area. E-ZPass is widely used in New Hampshire, offering convenience and sometimes discounted rates. If your rental car doesn't have E-ZPass, you can pay tolls with cash at staffed booths or use the "Pay-By-Plate" system on some roads. Always carry some cash for tolls, just in case. Be aware that some exits only accept E-ZPass. When planning your route, factor in potential toll costs. Remember, toll rates can vary based on vehicle size and time of day. Familiarize yourself with the toll system to ensure a smooth driving experience while exploring Dover and the beautiful surroundings of New Hampshire.
Dover and its surrounding areas offer several convenient options for fueling up and taking breaks during your journey. Along the Spaulding Turnpike, you'll find service plazas with gas stations, restrooms, and food options. In Dover itself, there are numerous gas stations, particularly along Central Avenue and Dover Point Road. When venturing further, the NH Route 16 corridor has several well-equipped rest areas, perfect for a quick stop. For longer trips, consider the Hooksett Rest Areas on I-93, offering a wide range of services. Remember to refuel your rental car regularly, especially before heading into more rural areas. Many gas stations in the region also provide basic supplies and local information, making them valuable stops for travelers exploring New Hampshire's scenic routes.
Driving in Dover requires adaptability to changing weather conditions. In winter, be prepared for snow and ice. Ensure your rental car is equipped with all-season or winter tires. Drive slowly and increase following distances. Spring can bring heavy rains, so use caution on wet roads and be aware of potential flooding in low-lying areas. Summer usually offers ideal driving conditions, but be prepared for occasional thunderstorms. Fall foliage season is beautiful but can create slippery conditions as leaves accumulate on roads. Always check weather forecasts before setting out, especially if planning drives in the White Mountains or along the coast. Adjust your driving style to match conditions, and don't hesitate to postpone trips in severe weather. Remember, New Hampshire weather can change quickly, so stay alert and prioritize safety when exploring Dover and its surroundings.

Choose a rental car that suits your trip style, whether it's an SUV for mountain exploration or a fuel-efficient compact for longer drives. Pack essentials like snacks, water, and a first-aid kit.
