The truck ran well, and it was clean and comfortable. It served its purpose perfectly. My host, Jesse, was kind, pleasant, and easy to work with. I would definitely rent again.

Truck was great! Clean and well maintained. We will definitely reach out to Jesse again.

Great truck! Super clean and easy to drive. Owner was very easy to work with! Will definitely use again!

This was my second time renting from Jesse as I needed something with lots of trunk space. The truck was in immaculate condition, and the host was nice and willing to accommodate my last minute change in schedule. Overall, another great rental experience! I will definitely be one of his returning costumers for sure.

Jesse was a great host and answered all questions. I would definitely rent from him again. He made everything an easy process.
The truck ran great like just as it is suppose to. Host was great. Very informative about the truck when picking it up. Truck was super clean inside and out. Would 100% rent from Jesse again. I also highly recommend recommend him to anyone. Great truck great all around host.
The truck is Awesome, clean, drove beautifully. Jesse is a very nice young man, he also responded right away on all my questions. Used the truck to drive on the Beach in Ocracoke Island N.C. Had no problems driving in the sand. Not having to carry everything down to where you set up for your day on the beach, just park, open the tailgate take out your chair and enjoy the day, I will use Jesse's truck next time going to the beach. You will not be disappointed at all with this truck.
Love this truck and the option to borrow when needed. Always very clean and detailed when we pick it up and easy pickup and drop off. Thanks Jesse

Everything was great. It’s a great truck and the host was a great communicator and very accommodating.

Truck was great, clean and drove great! Host was very nice and responsive. Perfect for a beach trip!
It's obviously take great care of this truck. It was super helpful and easy pick up and drop off! Will definitely get it again to tow our boat!

If I could do more than 5 stars I would. Communication is great.Nice clean truck. Definitely I will do business with Jesse again

This was our second time renting the truck for our OBX vacation, it’s a wonderful and comfortable drive, easy to maneuver on the sand! We had an issue with one of the tires going flat, and Turo roadside assistance was extremely helpful. We ended up not needing to use assistance, but they would have someone out to help us within 60-90 minutes which was impressive considering our remote location. Jesse is a great host, thank you!
Jesse was a great host. The truck was perfect for the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thanks!
Richmond offers an impressive array of attractions easily accessible with your rental car, from the historic Hollywood Cemetery to the trendy Carytown shopping district. You can explore the American Civil War Museum, stroll through the scenic Maymont estate, or experience the vibrant street art scene in the Fan District. Having a rental car provides the flexibility to visit multiple neighborhoods in one day, transport picnic supplies to Belle Isle, and easily navigate between downtown's cobblestone streets and suburban attractions.
Hollywood Cemetery stands as one of Richmond's most beautiful and historically significant sites, featuring elaborate Victorian monuments and the graves of two U.S. presidents. You'll find ample parking near the main entrance, and the cemetery sits just minutes from downtown Richmond along the James River. Your rental car makes it easy to transport camera equipment or picnic supplies while exploring the scenic overlooks of the James River rapids.
Carytown stretches for nine blocks along Cary Street, offering eclectic boutiques, vintage shops, and acclaimed restaurants in a walkable urban setting. You'll discover unique local businesses, art galleries, and the historic Byrd Theatre with its Wurlitzer organ. Street parking and nearby lots accommodate your rental car, making it convenient to transport shopping finds or dining supplies back to your accommodation.
Maymont encompasses 100 acres of stunning gardens, wildlife exhibits, and a Gilded Age mansion that showcases Richmond's aristocratic heritage. You can explore the Japanese Garden, Italian Garden, and native wildlife habitats while enjoying views of the James River. The estate provides generous parking areas that easily accommodate cars, and your rental car allows you to bring outdoor gear for extended exploration of the grounds.

Book your car rental early on Turo to secure the best vehicle options for Richmond's diverse activities and terrain. Consider vehicles with keyless entry for convenience and heated seats for comfortable winter exploration of outdoor attractions like Maymont or Belle Isle.
Richmond offers excellent opportunities for car rental when you need extra cargo space for moving between Virginia neighborhoods or hauling equipment around the metro area. Cars provide the hauling capacity essential for transporting furniture, construction materials, or large purchases that won't fit in regular cars. The car rental market in Richmond serves both residents relocating within Virginia and visitors requiring heavy-duty transportation for specific projects.
Driving a car requires adjusting to increased height, wider turning radius, and longer stopping distances compared to standard car rentals. Your visibility improves significantly due to the elevated seating position, but you'll need extra caution when changing lanes or navigating tight spaces in Richmond's urban areas. Pickup cars and larger rental cars handle differently than cars, especially when loaded with cargo in the car bed.
When parking your rental car in Richmond, choose spots with ample space and avoid tight parking garages that may have height restrictions. Use your mirrors extensively and take wide turns to accommodate the car's longer wheelbase and increased width. Always check overhead clearances at parking structures throughout Virginia, as many cars exceed standard car height limits.
Proper weight distribution in your rental car involves placing heavier items toward the front of the car bed and securing all cargo to prevent shifting during transport around Richmond. Balance the load evenly from side to side and avoid exceeding the car's payload capacity, which varies by model and rental specifications. Heavy cargo affects braking and handling, so adjust your driving style accordingly when navigating Virginia roads.
Contemporary car rentals typically include advanced safety systems like backup cameras, blind spot monitoring, and electronic stability control to enhance driver confidence. Many cars feature reinforced frames and multiple airbags that provide superior protection compared to smaller vehicles during Richmond area driving. Anti-lock braking systems and traction control help maintain vehicle stability when hauling cargo or navigating various weather conditions in Virginia.
Richmond's central Virginia location provides excellent access to Blue Ridge Mountain destinations where a car's capability proves valuable for camping gear and outdoor equipment transport. The Chesapeake Bay region offers scenic coastal routes perfect for car travel, with ample space for beach supplies and fishing equipment. Virginia's numerous state parks and recreational areas become more accessible when you have a rental car capable of handling camping gear and outdoor adventure supplies.
