Rent a car for pickup at the airport, or opt for delivery to various destinations, including airports, train stations, and hotels.

Your host sends you pickup details, and you’re all set to hit the roads of Provo, UT! If you have questions, you can easily chat with your host or contact support.

Excellent car and service. Renting from A to B Rentals at PVU was a great experience. They made it easy to find the car in the rental lot, and the car was immaculately clean and very well maintained. I highly recommend and will rent from them again in the future.

Mike was an excellent host. He was friendly and informative. The location of the car was easy to find. We had a good trip and we would book again in the future.

Hosts were great to work with. Clean instructions for pick up and drop off. Car ran smooth through the mountains. Would rent again from them next time in Utah

Extremely easy pickup and drop off and the host was exceptional. So helpful! Would rent this car again.
The car was great, would rent it again the host was very accommodating also, it was easy to change drop off location

This Jetta was super easy and fun to rent for the weekend trip, everything from communication to the actually ride was smooth!

Pickup was easy and quick, car was clean and drove great. Adam was great to work with and very flexible. Would rent with him again.

Although I was hesitant to book because the car was older (2014), I am grateful that I proceeded anyway. I found the car to be in excellent working condition: I enjoyed a smooth ride for the duration of my rental. I did not spend one second worrying about any noises because there were none! The car is well maintained for any model year but especially for an older car. I would definitely book this car again if given the chance. Additionally, Dane communicated often and let me know exactly what was expected (eg where to find the car, etc) so I didn’t need to guess. And he was gracious about pick up time when my ride got me there a few minutes earlier than expected.

This was my first time ever using Turo and my first time driving this type of vehicle, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I was absolutely fascinated by how well the car handled and, most importantly, how incredibly fuel-efficient it was. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Cristhian was an excellent host—very professional and helpful, making sure everything was perfect for my trip. I definitely recommend both this car and Cristhian to anyone looking for a reliable and economical ride. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Great car for my week-long trip to Utah!!! Extremely responsive and helpful host! Melvin was great! :)
Definitely 11 out of 10……. Super clean…… Great car to drive. Totally AWESOME host to deal with…
Great trip with Cristhian and his wonderful car! Pick was easy and drop off as well. Cristhian is the host supreme, providing water and wipes and checking in on me!

Everything was perfect - clean, on time, as advertised, and well communicated. Car is in good condition and had no problems.

Ready to pick up your car rental at Provo Airport? Your Turo host will leave your car in the Long-Term Parking lot, just a short walk from the terminal. Look inside for a parking ticket, then head out at your own pace. If you're meeting your host in person, you'll head to the Turo-branded space at the Cell Phone Lot, which is also a quick walk from the terminal. Spot the placard in the front window, do a fast handoff, and you're off!
The secret to a smooth rental experience? Communicating with your host via the Turo app! The app is where you'll find everything you need to know during your car rental booking, including where to pickup and return your vehicle. Use Turo messaging or tap on "Share location" in the app to stay in sync. A little communication goes a long way to making the whole process easy and seamless.
Like most airports, Provo charges a fee for car rentals delivered on-site. But don't worry: Turo collects and remits it without any markups. If your host needs you to cover parking fees for pickup or return, you'll see that info clearly listed before you book. No surprise charges or fine print, just the kind of transparency that makes travel easier.

Contactless check-in and checkout
Many hosts offer contactless check-in and checkout, if their car has remote access technology, allowing you to find the car, unlock it, and be on your way without meeting them in person. Message your host for specific instructions.

Convenient airport car rental pickup and return
Rather than hustling at the busy terminal curbside, take your time picking up the rental car at approved parking lots or garages. Check in, load up your luggage, and get comfortable with the car without a big rush.

Relax with support & damage protection
24/7 support and roadside assistance mean help is just a call away, plus you can choose from a range of protection plans.

Here for a BYU semester or a remote contract in Silicon Slopes? A trusty sedan is a comfortable daily drive with great discounts and car rental deals that make more sense than expensive rideshares.

Spend your morning strolling through the Provo Pioneer Village, your afternoon paddling around Utah Lake State Park, and your evening catching a live show at the Covey Center for the Arts. Foodies will appreciate the local dining scene (Black Sheep Café and Communal are must-visits), while weekend wanderers can explore everything from botanical gardens to zipline tours.

Tucked just a few miles up Provo Canyon, Bridal Veil Falls is a must-see for nature lovers. This stunning 600-foot waterfall cascades down a rugged cliffside and is easily accessible via a 1.4-mile paved trail, so no hiking boots are required. Pack a picnic, snap some photos for the gram, or just take a breather in the misty air. If you're visiting in winter, you'll be able to see the falls transformed into a frozen cascade that looks like something out of a fairytale.
Right on the Brigham Young University campus, the BYU Museum of Art houses an impressive collection of art that spans 250 years, ranging from classical European art to cutting-edge contemporary pieces, interactive displays, and new exhibitions that keep things fresh year-round. Thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented, it's an inspiring stop whether you're a seasoned art fan or just looking for a cool (and free) afternoon indoors.
If spectacular, wide-open views and alpine air are your thing, Provo Canyon doesn't disappoint. The scenic route just along Provo Canyon Road (US-189) winds past soaring cliffs, the rushing Provo River, and stops that are perfect for photo ops or quick hikes. Popular spots like Vivian Park make it easy to enjoy a low-key afternoon soaking up some sun, while Sundance Mountain Resort gives you reason to return all year round, with everything from summer ziplining to winter ski runs.
Whether you're here for the mountains, a campus visit, or a weekend recharge, renting a vehicle in Provo is the easiest way to see more, do more, and move at your own pace. Here are some helpful tips to know before you hit the road.
Turo makes picking up a car rental at Provo Airport refreshingly simple. Once you've arrived, you can collect your vehicle from the approved car lot: the Long-Term Parking lot, just a short walk from the terminal. Your host will leave a parking ticket inside the vehicle for you to exit with, and you'll find the exact location and stall number in the Turo app.
If you've arranged an in-person handoff instead, head to the Turo-branded space in the Cell Phone Lot to the left when you exit the terminal. Look for the placard in the windshield, meet your host, and you'll be on your way in minutes.
Returning your rental vehicle at PVU is just as easy as picking up. If you're doing a contactless return, head to the Long-Term Parking lot and pull a ticket at the entrance. Then, message your host via the Turo app with the car's location and stall number.
For in-person drop-offs, meet your host in the Turo-branded space in the Cell Phone Lot. Don't forget to pop the placard back in the windshield before arriving on airport property.
Provo Airport is only about five miles from downtown, so you'll be there in 10 minutes, depending on traffic! Whether you're heading straight to a meeting, grabbing lunch downtown, or making your way to a trailhead, getting from the airport to the heart of the city is fast, simple, and stress-free.
Driving in Provo is usually smooth sailing, but winter can shake things up. Once the snow starts falling, canyon routes like the US-189, especially around Bridal Veil Falls or on the way to Sundance, can turn icy and unpredictable. Before heading out, you can check the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) app for real-time road and weather alerts and any road closures.
In town, speed limits usually sit between 25–40 miles per hour (mph), while highways can go up to 80 mph. Utah law bans handheld phone use while driving, so keep your device mounted and make sure everyone in the car is buckled up with seatbelts.
Provo’s scenic routes also mean sharing the road with local wildlife. Around Utah Lake State Park and the nearby foothills, deer often wander across the road, particularly at dawn and dusk. Slow down and stay alert because though the views are worth it, so is getting there safely.
Finding parking doesn't have to feel like a scavenger hunt in Provo. If you're headed to the farmers market, a concert at the Covey Center, or just grabbing a coffee at Peace on Earth, public lots and garages are never far. You'll find plenty of options along Center Street and University Avenue.
If you're visiting BYU, however, be aware that campus parking has its own set of rules, so it's best to double-check signs or plan ahead if this is where you're headed.
While Provo itself doesn't have any toll roads, there are a couple of toll roads worth knowing about in Utah. If you're heading north toward Salt Lake City or beyond, keep an eye out for Utah's Express Lane system. These lanes are free for motorcyclists and carpoolers with an Express Pass. There's also the Adam's Avenue Parkway, further north, but it's unlikely you'll need it unless you're road-tripping past the Wasatch Front.
Fueling up in Provo is simple, whether you're driving a regular vehicle or an electric one. Gas stations are easy to find across town, especially along main roads like University Avenue, Center Street, and 500 West. If you're behind the wheel of an EV, Provo has plenty of charging stations that you'll find in spots like the Provo Airport, the Provo Marriott Hotel, and along Lindon Park Drive and Freedom Boulevard. Easy for topping up while running errands or grabbing a bite to eat.
Absolutely! From cruising scenic routes like the Alpine Loop to getting up close with natural wonders like Bridal Veil Falls and Utah Lake, you'll want your own transportation to open up all the best parts of Provo and beyond. With a car, it's the easiest way to reach the trails, explore the canyon, or make that last-minute run to Sundance. With a rental, you're not limited by schedules or stops. Just sit back and get ready to see where your sense of adventure takes you.
