I was suppose to get my 100 deposit back but never got it. The car owner said Turo is supposed to send it back but never received it. Did I get ripped off?

I never said anything about what Turo would or wouldn’t do. I simply said Turo handles all payments which is completely out of the control of the hosts. Did you call customer support like we discussed?
Happy to take a 4* if it applies but it seems like your beef is with turo not me or the car

The car was in terrible condition so we canceled the appointment. No one was there he just messaged key in cup holder. A bad experience. The car didn’t look safe

The car is not in terrible condition. The car is old and has been on Turo for years. So it has some dings. Dings in the door do not make this car unsafe.
Turo runs on contactless pick. That’s the appeal. I left the car exactly how I’ve left it for the 70+ 5* rated trips for pickup. I gave clear and timely instructions on how to pick up.
This car is a base model 2014 Corolla. This is the motel 6 of rental cars. If you’re looking for the ritz move along.
