Car was wonderful to drive, and gas efficient. Host was very clear with pick up and drop off. Would recommend and rent again!

Car is well maintained and clean. Cardell is a great host and I would for sure rent from him again!

Super fun car to drive, easy delivery and pick up! Definitely will rent again

Car was great, on mileage and owner was very communicative. Would definitely rent again!
My car was clean, full tank, pickup location was easy to find and well lit public area. My host was professional and friendly. The price was also less than the three main rental companies. I will definitely use again if need be.
Great car was able to do everything I needed to for work with it and the host was amazing very communicative answered any question I had at any time very affordable
Really appreciated that the host was able to do drop off! Car was clean and had no issues!
Friendly host and a good car overall. No issues. Smooth as you would expect.

Clean, reliable, and great on gas. Always a pleasure renting from Caleb!

Car was great. Super easy pick up and drop off. Host was so awesome. Extended my trip an extra day and at the last minute needed to extend my rental and they were very accommodating. Definitely recommend and would rent again on my next trip.
Absolutely amazing experience. Car was beyond cleaned, looked brand new. Sierra was a great host. Highly impressed! Will rent from her again.

Probably one of the easiest and best experiences ever. Not only was communication above and beyond but the car was in great condition and being a hybrid was great on gas mileage. We had to extend and it was a seamless process. We had it dropped off and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. 10/10 would recommend car to anyone.
This was the perfect solution for a long-distance trip. Our 1st time trying Turo.com and 1st time using hybrid vehicle. We didn't know all the fuel saving settings, but we averaged 52 miles/gal! Drivers seat molds to your back, and that adjustable lumbar support makes a huge difference on a road trip. Another critical feature is the intuitive cruise control. It automatically adjusts speed when someone cuts into your lane, and when that car leaves your lane it waits for a bit to see if someone else is going to cut into your lane, then it resumes your cruising speed. This was an extremely helpful feature in Bay area California traffic. Customer service was excellent. We had a travel delay arriving to get the car, and they kept our reservation. Highly recommend!
Rent a car and explore Puyallup, WA
While Puyallup is famous for the Washington State Fair, which takes place every year in September, there's a lot more to the city than carnival rides. From beautiful parks to eclectic shops, this city blends nature and small-town warmth. Here are some Puyallup locations to visit while you're in town.
Rent the perfect car
To truly experience the Pacific Northwest beauty, you can't skip the giant in Puyallup's backyard: Mount Rainier. This icon rises to 14,410 feet above sea level and is visible from just about everywhere you look. If you're heading up to Mount Rainier, it's a good idea to make it a full day's outing. Hike the Skyline or Pinnacle Peak trails and then hit the popular spots, like Narada Falls. Just remember to bring layers, bring a map (or get one from the Jackson Visitor Center), and charge your phone.
If you're looking for nearby locations in Puyallup, you don't have to drive far to immerse yourself in nature. Bradley Lake Park is a 12-acre park that has shady picnic areas, a paved walking trail around the lake, and open fields. Whether you're with family members or friends, it's a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon. And your kids can burn off energy on the playground, too. Don't expect flashy. But that's what the locals love about it. It's their go-to lake when they want a laid-back time.
Want something a little wilder? The Puyallup River has mountain-fed currents, making it a fun place to go kayaking or paddle boarding. You don't have to get in the water, though. You can walk or bike along the 5-mile Puyallup Riverwalk Trail, fish for salmon on the river's edge, or just take in the scenery and listen to the sound of the rushing water. And if you're looking for a longer hike, hike in the nearby Wildwood Park or the Foothills Trail.

Relax with support & damage protection

The Washington State Fair, which takes place in September, is one of the biggest fairs in the country, so you'll want a rental car that makes your trip effortless. If you're with family, a spacious SUV can help with strollers and prize-winning stuffed animals. If you're taking the trip alone or just with your partner, a compact car that's easy to park can do the trick. Just remember to give yourself plenty of time to arrive early or park further away from the fair and enjoy the walk.
Planning a day trip to Mount Rainier National Park? Rent an AWD or 4WD so you can drive comfortably through winding roads and/or icy surfaces. A rugged rental vehicle will also let you tackle some of the steeper climbs. And with a rental car, you can take in the scenery at your own pace, pulling over whenever something catches your eye and taking photos at scenic overlooks. The park is only an hour and a half away from Puyallup, but you may want to spend the night at a lodge, like the Nisqually Lodge, or at a cozy studio cabin less than a mile from the park's entrance.
A weekend getaway offers endless possibilities. Start with antique shopping and coffee in downtown Puyallup and then spend a few hours in Tacoma visiting the Museum of Glass and having dinner at a fine dining restaurant. Alternatively, you can book a cabin near Eatonville and immerse yourself in the state's parks all weekend, like the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. Whatever your plans are, a rental car on Turo can get you there.

Pickup near or at Airports
Renting a car in Puyallup makes it convenient to explore the city at your own pace. You can cruise through South Hill, spend the day at Mount Rainier, or hop back and forth between iconic coffee spots. But having your own ride means you get to set your own schedule.
Before you start your trip, though, here are some important tips to keep in mind when driving in Puyallup and the surrounding areas.
Driving in Puyallup is pretty straightforward, but you may notice some quirks that are specific to the Pacific Northwest. Weather is the biggest concern here. There is lots of rain in Puyallup, so expect the roads to become slick and visibility to shrink when there's fog. If you're driving toward Mount Rainier, be prepared to drive through winding routes and changing weather conditions.
There's rarely heavy snow in Puyallup, but the Mount Rainier area can get icy. If a trip to Mount Rainier National Park is on your list, consider renting an AWD or 4WD vehicle.
Downtown Puyallup can be busy with pedestrians, especially when the Farmers' Market is open, so drive more slowly here. And during the Washington State Fair, expect the downtown area to have heavy traffic for those three weeks. If you're driving during the fair, give yourself extra time to find parking, too.
Fortunately, parking in Puyallup is manageable. Downtown has a mix of public parking lots and on-street parking. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a parking spot except if you're there during a major event, like the Washington State Fair. If you're in South Hill, you'll find plenty of parking at the mall area and Sunrise Village.
Visiting during the Washington State Fair? Parking during these three weeks can be a challenge. Parking spots fill up early, and you'll see a price increase on all the public parking lots. To save money, you can leave your car at the hotel and take public transportation to the fair or just park farther out.
There are no toll roads in Puyallup, which means you can explore the city, drive to the mountains, and even head to Tacoma without paying extra fees.
Puyallup may be a small town, but you'll still be able to find gas stations everywhere. Look for gas stations along Meridian Avenue and South Hill, like Arco and Shell.
EV drivers won't have a problem finding public chargers, either. There are plenty of public chargers near downtown, at the South Hill mall area, and in the parking lot of grocery stores. Some popular charging stations are the Blink Charging Station and Tesla.
If you want to truly enjoy everything Puyallup and the surrounding areas have to offer, a rental car is the way to go. Puyallup is pretty spread out, and the public transportation system doesn't reach all the city's corners. A rental car also gives you the freedom to start your day in historic downtown and end up hiking in the beautiful Mount Rainier area.
