The trip was awesome. The van drove very nice and was clean. Our host had it ready for me early last minute and I was very pleased. I will rent again if I ever need a big van there was so much room and it was good on gas. Thank you so much your kindness and accommodation was much appreciated!!!
Amazing van and owner who is supportive and responsive. Had the best time!

We rented this Ford Transit van for a family trip and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The van was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough room for everyone to ride comfortably without feeling cramped, even with a lot of luggage. It handled well, was smooth on the road, and felt very safe and secure throughout the entire trip. It was picked up clean, well-maintained, and ready to go. Highly recommended!

This car was a smooth. The host was very kind. Would definitely rent from him again on our next camping trip. Thank you Khoa

The BEST experience I have had on here. Wonderful host with great communication. Easy access to park your car and pick up the Sprinter. Clean, new and drives smooth, I love this sprinter and will rent again. Thank you!!
We rented a van and had a great experience. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The rental process was smooth and easy, and the staff was very professional and helpful. Everything worked perfectly, and it was ideal for our family trip. I highly recommend their service and would definitely rent from them again.

Great experience all around. Clear communication, helpful instructions, nice van. Thanks!

Great family-friendly vehicle with plenty of space for everyone. The host was knowledgeable, communicative, and easy to work with—I would definitely recommend both the van and the host. We would absolutely book again without hesitation.
The van drove great and fit us comfortably. We loved the leather seats and it was clean. Will def book again!

Great Van and great owners. They were Very understandable. I was a little overwhelmed by my daughter’s wedding and overlooked a few things. They are super great! I wish I could keep this can a secret lol! Great turo vehicle!
Daniel was my first rental on Turo and he was easy to work with. From the rental process to pick-up and drop-off, the entire process was seamless. His 10-passenger van was affordable for our short-family vacation in San Diego and an amazing vehicle to have that enhanced our memories filled with laughter and joy having everyone together during our road travels from San Diego to Orange County through to Los Angeles. While the Van provided a television for entertainment, it was not needed for us but I am certain that it will benefit others. A great feature to the Van!! The only trouble we had, at first, was locating the gas tank. It took us a while to locate it, but after the while we decided to look it up on YouTube and we found it. It is located at the Driver side, unnoticeable because the cover blends in with the door and Van’s side panel. Haha. Rent this Van from Daniel. I promise you that you will not regret it!! Thank you, Daniel, for allowing our family to be together in your Van and at an affordable rate!!!

Pick up and drop off was super easy and convenient. Staff were friendly. Quick response. Great 12 passenger Transit van. Would definitely book with this company again.

Nader had great communication throughout! He was very responsive and everything was very easy and smooth! The vehicle fit everyone and everything for our trip and we made it there and back with no issues!
Couldn’t have had a better experience in this sprinter van! Thank you so much Michael!
Host great, van was perfect for our needs, and location for pickup and drop off were very convenient

Everything was amazing. Van drove great and the host was awesome. Will definitely use again!
The van was perfect for our business trip and we are already planning to rent again in October.
You can explore Salt Creek Beach for world-class surfing and tide pooling, venture to nearby Laguna Beach's art galleries and coves, or visit the sprawling Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park for hiking trails. Your rental van provides easy access to Dana Point Harbor for whale watching excursions and waterfront dining. The freedom of having your own vehicle lets you discover hidden gems like the Laguna Niguel Regional Park's fishing lake and picnic areas at your own pace.
You'll find one of Orange County's most popular beaches offering consistent waves for surfers and gentle slopes perfect for families. The beach features ample parking areas accessible by van, though arriving early ensures the best spots during peak season. Your rental van proves especially valuable here, providing space to store beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for extended stays.
You can access over 30 miles of trails winding through coastal sage scrub and oak woodlands in this expansive wilderness area. Multiple parking areas serve different trailheads, making your rental van essential for exploring various sections of the park. The park's diverse terrain offers everything from easy nature walks to challenging ridge hikes with panoramic ocean views.
You'll discover a bustling harbor offering whale watching tours, sailing excursions, and waterfront restaurants just minutes from Laguna Niguel. The harbor provides convenient parking for visitors arriving by van, with easy access to boat charters and marine attractions. Your rental van allows you to combine harbor visits with stops at nearby beaches and coastal communities throughout the day.
You can reach Laguna Niguel by flying into John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, which serves the Orange County area with domestic and limited international flights. Long Beach Municipal Airport offers another option for travelers, particularly those using budget airlines. San Diego Airport provides additional flight options for visitors willing to drive north along the coast. Train service via Amtrak connects to nearby San Juan Capistrano station, requiring a short van ride to reach Laguna Niguel. By van, major highways including Interstate 5 and State Route 73 provide direct access from Los Angeles, San Diego, and other California destinations.
You should book your van rental early on Turo, especially during summer months when demand peaks for beach destinations and family vacations. Consider vehicles with features like backup cameras for easier parking in crowded beach lots, and all-wheel drive if you plan to explore canyon areas or venture into nearby mountains. Look for vans equipped with bike racks if you want to cycle along the coastal paths, or choose pet-friendly options for traveling with furry companions to dog-friendly beaches.
Spacious seating for up to eight passengers ensures everyone travels comfortably during your Laguna Niguel adventures, whether heading to nearby Laguna Beach or exploring Santa Ana attractions. Climate control becomes essential for California's warm weather, while ample cargo space accommodates beach gear, luggage, and shopping from Newport Beach excursions. Safety features like backup cameras and blind spot monitoring prove invaluable when navigating busy areas around Anaheim or San Diego.
Maintain extra following distance since vans require more stopping space than regular vehicles, especially during rush hours between Laguna Niguel and Irvine. Use your mirrors frequently and signal early when changing lanes, as California drivers move quickly around larger vehicles near busy areas like Long Beach Municipal Airport. Plan your routes during off-peak hours when possible, particularly for trips to San Diego Airport or Ontario Airport where traffic congestion peaks during morning and evening commutes.
Most shopping centers and restaurants in Laguna Niguel offer spacious parking lots designed to accommodate larger vehicles, making van parking straightforward for family outings. Beach parking near Laguna Beach requires arriving early during peak season, as van-friendly spots fill quickly at popular coastal destinations. Public parking structures in nearby Irvine and Newport Beach typically provide adequate clearance and wider spaces suitable for rental vans.
Eight-passenger vans provide the ideal balance of space and maneuverability for exploring attractions from Juan Capistrano to Anaheim with extended family or friend groups. Twelve-passenger vans suit larger gatherings but require more careful navigation through tighter spaces in historic areas like downtown Laguna Niguel. Consider your typical group size and luggage needs when selecting between standard and extended van rentals for California adventures.
Adjust seats and mirrors before departing Laguna Niguel to ensure optimal comfort for extended drives to destinations like San Diego or beyond. Pack snacks and entertainment for passengers, especially when traveling with children on longer routes through California's scenic coastal areas. Take regular breaks every two hours at rest stops or attractions along your route, allowing everyone to stretch and refresh during your van rental adventure.
Verify that all seatbelts function properly and familiarize yourself with the van's blind spot monitoring system before leaving Laguna Niguel for your California road trip. Test the backup camera and parking sensors, as these features prove essential when maneuvering in crowded areas around Newport Beach or Santa Ana. Check tire pressure and ensure the spare tire kit is accessible, particularly important for longer journeys to airports like San Diego Airport or Ontario Airport.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you'll need to check on each rental van individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you'll see the total miles or kilometers you're allowed to drive under the heading "Distance included." You can find vans offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the "Unlimited distance" filter.
No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent a van on Turo. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum.
