I am certainly a Chevy lover, however after driving this truck I may be purchasing a Ford next. This is a phenomenal truck and it made my trip easy and smooth. The truck is very well taken care of and runs and drives excellent. The features of the truck are top notch. I would most definitely rent again!

Our trip with the Ford Maverick was great. Pick-up/drop-off and communication were all seamless. Truck was solid. Thank you!

Truck was clean and exactly what we needed. No surprises on the trip. Any questions we had regarding pick up/drop off were answered quickly. I would definitely book with Truw again and recommend to others.
I’d like to thank the host for allowing me to use their nice and spacious 2021 Chevrolet on my birthday. It was perfect for driving down to my sister’s to watch the Chiefs game. I’ll definitely be booking with them again for future road trips.

Fantastic. Drop off and pick up of the vehicle from my drive way is worth every penny.

Pickup near or at Airports
Kansas City's sprawling metropolitan area includes everything from wide suburban roads to denser urban neighborhoods. Before renting a truck, consider where you'll be driving and parking, particularly if you're choosing a larger cargo van or box truck. It's also a good idea to confirm your vehicle's dimensions if you expect to encounter parking garages, loading zones, or other areas with clearance restrictions.
If you're driving a truck in Kansas City for the first time, keep these practical tips in mind:
Parking a truck in Kansas City is generally easy, particularly compared with denser urban areas. While street parking in downtown neighborhoods such as the Crossroads Arts District can be challenging for larger vehicles, the city offers plenty of surface lots that are often easier to access and maneuver in than parking garages. Drivers of larger trucks should also be aware that some garages have height restrictions, making open-air parking areas a more practical option. Before parking, always check posted signs for any time limits, restrictions, or clearance requirements.
The right truck type for your KC trip really depends on what's planned on your itinerary. For light hauling, tailgating, and weekend visits, a standard pickup truck will have enough space for gear and passengers. For larger groups needing rear passenger seating plus plenty of room for suitcases, a crew cab pickup is the best option. And for anyone moving or hauling heavy cargo, consider a large cargo truck or box truck rental. Before you book and your rental begins, consider how many people will be traveling with.
Keep these tips in mind when loading your truck to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable journey:
In Kansas City, gas stations are plentiful and located across the metro area. Be sure to confirm whether your vehicle takes gas or diesel before filling up, as using the wrong fuel can cause damage to the truck's engine.
If you're renting an electric truck, KC offers a growing network of charging stations around major corridors and shopping centers. Use apps like Plugshare to find your nearest charging station, and always top off when possible rather than waiting until the battery is low.
