The vehicle was in excellent condition and the host was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Next time we are in Albuquerque we will rent our vehicle from WizeFox again.

The dodge Caravan ran good with great A/C. It was very clean with no minor issues. Full tank ready for my family and I. Only thing missing was a wiper on the back window other than the minor issue it was great for my family and I.

The van was comfortable and had the space for all six of us and our luggage. It drove well and has a nice set of tires on it. The seats were all day comfortable on the road. It has expected wear and tear for it's age. We found everything to be fully functional. It's a good value. The only convenience of a newer vehicle we missed was Bluetooth connectivity and having several USB charging outlets.

The car was clean and ran well, the pick up location was easy and the host was communicative. Having said that, I’ve rented from Turo several times and did again because I thought if the FAA canceled my flight, dealing with one person v a corporation would be simpler. But Turo no longer seems a budget friendly, more personal option. This particular host owns a fleet of cars like a rental agency; the car was not as cheap as a car from the corporate folks. I will weigh both options next time I need a car.

Car was amazing! Host was very accommodating, as long as you communicate they’re very nice! Very clean car worked so well good on gas!
The van was very clean and, had everything we needed. It was a very comfortable van for several women over 80. The host was awesome to work with and if we need to rent another van, I would call them again.

Hi, I’ve dropped off the car at the designated location. Please let me know if everything looks good on your end. Also, thanks to your amazing car, I had a really great trip. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with this car and host. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly throughout my trip. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth and convenient, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks to this amazing car, I was able to have a really enjoyable trip. I would definitely book again!

Great communication and the van was exactly what we needed for our trip. Thank you!

Great vehicle, superb host, all around excellent experience/ rental. We were a little hesitant at first being that this vehicle had not yet been rented out. Glad we did as the van, price and host were all top-notch! Thanks again for your hospitality! We will be renting again from this host, for sure!

Great host, smooth car ride, clean car. Very communicative hosts! Will rent from her again!
I was nervous to use this app just because I’m old school. It was a great experience!! Very accommodating and easy to use!!

Nice hosts, very communicative and helpful. Convenient pickup at the airport. Car was clean! Car had a little aesthetic exterior damage, but no biggie. Felt like there was deferred maintenance- wipers and no washer fluid, car had a shimmy at highway speeds - BUT it was priced and and ran just fine! Served our needs well :)

If you’re thinking about renting from Christian, you should. He made pick up and drop off easy and the Caravan took me around northern New Mexico comfortably.
The host was helpful and pleasant. The car was in good shape and as advertised

The hosts were super pleasant and very easy to work with. They made pick up and drop off a breeze, and were very accommodating. The van worked well and was big enough to fit us all and our luggage, as well as a wheelchair. I would highly recommend!!!

Rental minivans provide exceptional space for families or groups exploring New Mexico's diverse attractions, from the Sandia Mountains to historic Old Town Albuquerque. These vehicles offer comfortable seating for up to eight passengers plus ample cargo room for luggage, outdoor gear, or shopping from your ABQ adventures. The elevated seating position in a rental minivan gives you better visibility of the high desert landscape and mountain vistas that make Albuquerque such a scenic destination.
The Turquoise Trail (Highway 14) leads north through historic mining towns like Madrid and Cerrillos toward Santa Fe, showcasing New Mexico's artistic heritage and stunning high desert scenery. Route 66 stretches east and west from Albuquerque, offering classic American road trip experiences through small towns and iconic roadside attractions. The scenic drive to Bandelier National Monument takes you through the Jemez Mountains, while southbound routes lead to the fascinating Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands National Park.
New Mexico requires all vehicle occupants to wear seat belts, and children under specific age requirements must use appropriate car seats or booster seats. The state follows right-hand traffic patterns typical throughout the USA, with speed limits varying from 25 mph in residential areas to 75+ mph on interstate highways. High altitude and intense sun in the Albuquerque area can affect both vehicle performance and driver comfort, so stay hydrated and be aware that your rental minivan may need adjustment time when climbing elevation changes around NM.
You can get discounts and low cost car rental on Turo. On your Account page, make sure you've checked the box to receive email notifications, and enable push notifications from the Turo app in your phone settings — we'll send you occasional promo codes, discounts, and deals. Additionally, frequent travelers on Turo can get rewarded with the loyalty bonus — earn a promo code for one bonus day when you take trips totaling 10 days in a 90-day period.
Take the airport exit onto Gibson Boulevard heading west, then merge onto I-25 North for a direct route into downtown Albuquerque. The journey follows major arterials through the city's Westside before crossing the Rio Grande into the heart of NM's largest metropolitan area. Alternative routes include Surface Street options via Central Avenue (historic Route 66) which takes you through various Albuquerque neighborhoods and past local landmarks.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you'll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you'll see the total miles or kilometers you're allowed to drive under the heading "Distance included." You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the "Unlimited distance" filter.
Yes there is — whether you want to rent a car for three days, three months, or even longer, you can on Turo. You'll find discounted prices on bookings lasting 3+, 7+, or 30+ days, so you can get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips.
No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on Turo. In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host's vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a car in the US, you'll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that's right for you. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you're covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
New Mexico does not operate toll roads, so you can explore the entire Albuquerque area and beyond without worrying about toll charges. All major highways including I-25, I-40, and state routes throughout NM remain free to use for both local driving and longer road trips. This makes budgeting for your Albuquerque minivan rental experience more straightforward since fuel will be your primary driving expense.
Multiple gas stations line Gibson Boulevard and other major roads surrounding ABQ, ensuring convenient refueling options before returning your rental minivan. Electric vehicle charging stations are available at various locations throughout Albuquerque, including shopping centers, hotels, and public facilities in the metro area. The airport vicinity features several fuel options along the main access routes, making it easy to top off your tank regardless of your departure schedule.
