Pickup near or at Airports

Car was amazing, it really accomodate what we need as a couple who want to do romantic road trip drive thru great ocean road. Suspension still good and powerfull too. Pick up in and out also went smoothly. Thank you Kay.
Pickup and drop off smooth, great car and very economical. 730km trip cost around 80$ in fuel for 2 people! Thanks Bruno

A smooth and stress-free trip! It was a very last minute hire for a 24 hour period, the host was prompt in their response accepting the hire and providing directions for an easy pickup and drop off process. A pleasure to deal with.
Great little car for getting around, nice and clean and Dave was super helpful. Thanks!
Dinh was great and very accommodating! I had to shorten my trip due to unexpected circumstances. Yet, he was very willing and helpful to the very end. Definitely recommend Dinh!
I had a great EV experience, and the owner was very friendly. I recommend everyone rent a car here

I’m often disillusioned and disappointed by the disconnect between the quality of product and service I’m promised by so many organisations and people I deal with, and the quality I actually receive from them. I’m pretty confident that I’m not alone n this regard! So, it’s refreshing to find someone who offers a great product and is exceptional in their level customer care and service. The Kia Rio suited me very well on this last trip. I loved driving it. Dave was great to deal with. He was very accommodating at pick-up, drop-off and during the trip.. He provided excellent advice and guidance. I thoroughly recommend Dave and his car to anyone!
Nick is an epic host! This car is seriously awesome, fast, quiet, stylish. Made my trip the Melbourne so simple and easy. This is my 2nd time renting from Nick and I’ll definitely be back in the future. Thanks for your hospitality Nick!
Ah... The customer service quality that seems to have long since departed our fine Australian shores. Bruno was an exceptional host who went way beyond just renting out his car; even went to the pains of delivering it, and then picking up at the end of the gig from my residential address. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained vehicle, negotiates corners nicely, sprightly, fast acceleration, and ultra fun to drive. Unbelievably economical, too: circa 300+ km = wait for it.... $69 AU bucks or so. If you are in Melbourne or simply visiting, look no further!
Car like new, great little car even for a tall big guy like me. Host is a pleasure to deal with and went above all other hosts

Great Mini ! Car was clean and ready to go at pickup. Bruno was great to deal with

A great car overall at a reasonable price too! We took it for a drive along the Great Ocean Road for a few days and what a drive it turned out to be! The car is well balanced, in good condition and has clearly been maintained well by the owner. Communication was prompt from the get go and the customer service was great. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to hire in Melbourne
Great price, drives well, lots of space in car, android auto/Apple play is very handy. Would recommend!

Looking for Doncaster cheap car hire? Get ready to cruise through Doncaster like a local with the lowdown on making your car hire experience smooth.
First up, book early — nothing ruins a road trip faster than being left with last-minute options that don’t fit your vibe. Next, choose wisely: whether you're after a zippy little number for city jaunts or a people mover to fit the entire crew, there's a ride for every occasion. And don’t forget the add-ons like GPS and child seats — because getting lost in the Melbourne suburbs might sound fun, but trust us, it’s not.
Before you hit the road, remember: in Melbourne, we drive on the left side. Stick to the speed limits (50 km/h in built-up areas and up to 100 km/h on highways), and watch out for those famous Melbourne hook turns! The legal BAC limit is 0.05%, so if you’re planning to enjoy a few glasses of wine at dinner, have a designated driver ready. Melbourne’s weather can be unpredictable — sunshine one minute, rain the next — so keep an umbrella handy in the car, just in case.
If you’re hoping for a breezy drive through Doncaster, avoid rush hour like the plague. Peak traffic times hit between 7–9 am and 4:30–6:30 pm, particularly on Doncaster Road and the Eastern Freeway. It’s the perfect time to put on your favourite playlist and practice a little patience!
Yes, the Eastern Freeway around Doncaster will funnel you into a toll road if you're heading toward the city. Make sure your Turo car rental has an e-tag, and you'll be able to reimburse your host post-trip. But don’t worry — it’s all part of the Melbourne driving experience!
Parking in Doncaster can be hit or miss, especially around Westfield Doncaster. There’s plenty of parking at the shopping centre, but if you’re around the residential areas, you might need to hunt for a spot.
Doncaster makes it easy to keep your car fuelled up, whether you’re cruising in a petrol-powered ride or an eco-friendly electric vehicle. For petrol, you'll find plenty of options along Doncaster Road and Williamsons Road, with popular stations like Shell, BP, and Caltex ready to keep your tank full. They’re conveniently located, so you won’t have to go far before hitting the next station.
For electric vehicle drivers, Westfield Doncaster is your go-to for charging up while grabbing a coffee or doing a bit of shopping. The shopping centre has several EV charging stations, including Tesla chargers and other universal options, making it super convenient to top up while you recharge yourself. You'll also find additional EV chargers scattered around Doncaster in local parking lots, like at the Park & Ride near the Eastern Freeway and Doncaster Civic Centre.
While public transport is solid, hiring a car in Doncaster gives you the freedom to explore the nearby parks, shopping centres, and even venture into Melbourne's CBD on your schedule. It’s way more fun than waiting for the next bus!
While Doncaster is well-connected with public transport, there’s nothing quite like the freedom of having your own set of wheels to explore the area. Sure, you could catch a bus or wait around for the next tram into the city, but a car lets you move at your own pace. Doncaster is nestled in the Melbourne suburbs, so if you're planning to explore the wider area or head out into the Yarra Valley wine region, a car makes the journey a lot easier (and far more scenic!).

With endless wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table dining, it’s the perfect spot to sample local produce—and maybe bring back a bottle or two. With towering trees, walking trails, and hidden villages, it’s the perfect spot for a day of hiking and café-hopping. Don’t forget to stop at Puffing Billy, a century-old steam train that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time (or into a children’s storybook).
Mornington Peninsula
If the beach is calling your name, head down to the Mornington Peninsula. Less than two hours from Doncaster, this spot is famous for its stunning beaches, natural hot springs, and boutique wineries. Spend the day soaking in the mineral-rich pools at Peninsula Hot Springs, then enjoy fish and chips by the beach while watching the sunset. It's basically Melbourne’s version of a spa day.
Melbourne CBD
No Melbourne day trip list is complete without mentioning the CBD. Only a 25-minute drive from Doncaster, the city offers a world of culture, art, and of course, the famous coffee scene. Check out Federation Square, visit the NGV, or stroll down Hosier Lane for your fill of street art. And don’t leave without trying a flat white from one of the many specialty cafés.
Phillip Island

Watch as these adorable little birds waddle their way back home at sunset. If penguins aren’t your thing (although, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a penguin?), the island also offers coastal walks, beaches, and plenty of fresh seafood.
