This Jetta was an unexpectedly fun rental. Even with Baltimore’s crater filled streets and endless potholes, it drove surprisingly smooth and soaked up the bumps better than I expected. The manual transmission made it enjoyable to zip around, and the gas mileage was excellent, I barely had to think about filling up. A solid little car that handled the city’s obstacle course like a champ.

Ralph’s Arteon was fantastic (again!), and pickup and drop-off could not have been easier. The car was in tip-top condition. I genuinely do not think enough people realize what an exceptional highway cruiser the Arteon is. It is spacious, comfortable, smooth, and just about perfect for a road trip. I cannot recommend the car or Ralph highly enough. An easy five-star experience from beginning to end.
