Bassel was great at communicating and made the process simple and quick. Fun car!
Bassel and Hesham made my first experience with Turo a breeze. Both hosts were friendly and helpful with any questions. The mini offered reliability and joy while on this road trip - it truly was a blast to drive!

Vitaliy is a great host. Very accommodating with me being late. Will definitely rent from again next time
Great car! Easy pickup and drop off. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Host very responsive which is much appreciated. Had no issues at all mechanically. Drove smooth with no steering or tire issues. AC and heat worked good. Great price range! Would rent again!

Owner very pleasant to deal with. The car was in very good condition. Excellent gas mileage.
Nice car. Only thing, the first night when I backed out of my driveway to take the kids in it the back up camera was a mess of blury lines, just that one time.

Pick up was simple and easy to do. The greatest difficulty with. Turo was that this was supposed to be a 60th birthday surprise, and there was no easy way to add him as a driver without him knowing. The car was fantastic, and having a convertible on a sunny day is spectacular.
Had a wonderful time and will definitely be working with him again! The car was fun and great gas mileage.

Who is monthly car rental in Omaha for?
Just relocated to Omaha
You landed the job — maybe at Offutt Air Force Base, one of Omaha's Fortune 500 headquarters like Mutual of Omaha or Union Pacific, or a clinical position at UNMC. The last thing you need right now is a car loan on top of a new lease. A monthly car rental on Turo gives you dependable transportation while you learn your commute, explore neighborhoods, and decide whether buying makes sense down the road.
Lease just ended — or just sold your car
You're between vehicles in one of the most affordable metros in the country, and there's no reason to rush into a purchase you'll regret. A monthly rental bridges the gap — drive something reliable while you take your time shopping, test different vehicle types, or simply enjoy not making a five-figure decision under pressure.
Extended work assignment or traveling professional
Traveling nurses rotating through Nebraska Medicine, contractors on a six-month build, or military personnel on a temporary assignment at Offutt — an extended car rental in Omaha costs less than stacking daily or weekly rates, and you can cancel or extend as the timeline shifts. No minimums, no paperwork to refile.
Post-college or first car
You just walked at UNO or Creighton, and your budget is tight. Limited credit history makes dealership financing painful — high APRs, inflated down payments, or flat-out denials. Renting a car for a month in Omaha on Turo sidesteps all of that. Pick a practical sedan or compact SUV, pay a transparent monthly price, and keep your options open as your career takes shape.
If you're flying into Omaha for an extended stay, you can find monthly rentals listed near Eppley Airfield. The airport — OMA — handled a record 5.3 million passengers in 2024 and sits just three miles northeast of downtown, making it a convenient starting point for a long-term car rental in Omaha. Coordinate pickup details directly through the Turo app.
Midtown sits at the crossroads of downtown and western Omaha, with a walkability score of 80 out of 100. It's a popular landing spot for medical professionals near UNMC and students at UNO. For monthly renters settling into Dundee, Blackstone, or the surrounding blocks, picking up a car in Midtown keeps your commute short from day one.
This mixed-use district near UNO and I-80 draws young professionals and relocating couples with its combination of walkable retail, green space at Stinson Park, and easy highway access. If you're starting a new position in west Omaha or just need a car while you get established, Aksarben-Elmwood Park puts you close to listings and on your way.

Omaha's grid layout and interstate access make daily driving straightforward — here's what to know before booking your monthly rental.
Use the duration filter to search for trips of 30 days or more, which unlocks the deepest discounts on monthly car rentals in Omaha. Many listings also offer reduced rates at the seven-day and 14-day marks. Booking a week or two in advance gives you more vehicle choices and better pricing, especially during spring and summer relocation season.
For daily commuting across Omaha, prioritize fuel efficiency and comfort over flash. Reliable sedans and compact SUVs from Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Kia tend to offer the best value for monthly renters. Think about your typical week — grocery runs, highway commutes on I-80, weekend errands — and pick accordingly.
I-80 runs east-west through the metro, I-680 loops around the city, and the West Dodge Expressway connects downtown to the western suburbs. Omaha's street grid is intuitive once you learn the numbered-street system. Winter brings ice and occasional snow — plan for slower commutes from December through February.
Park Omaha runs downtown and Midtown parking. You'll pay meters Mon through Sat, 9 am to 9 pm, but Sundays are free. Rates increase the longer you stay in one spot, so monthly renters may want to look into garage options or residential zones closer to home.
Nebraska has no active toll roads. You can drive anywhere in the state — including I-80, I-680, and every other interstate — without paying a toll. One less thing to budget for on a monthly rental.
Omaha has 209 public EV charging ports within 15 kilometers of the city center, split between Level 2 and Level 3 chargers. Home charging through OPPD runs about 10.5 cents per kilowatt-hour — roughly $10 to charge a vehicle for 300 miles. If you're renting a gas-powered car, stations are easy to find across the metro.
Monthly rentals on Turo in Omaha lean practical and everyday — think reliable sedans, fuel-efficient compacts, and family-friendly SUVs. You'll find popular makes like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Kia across a range of price points. Filter by features, price, or pickup location to find the car that fits your daily routine.
Whether you want to rent a car for a month in Omaha or stay for several months, rentals on Turo get cheaper the longer you book. About 60% of available monthly supply in Omaha is priced under $800 per month, with a median around $1,300 per month. You'll see the total price before you book — no hidden fees, no surprise charges at the end.
No extensive credit check is required. Turo verifies your identity and driving record, but there's no hard credit pull like you'd face at a dealership. You can browse and book a monthly car rental in Omaha without worrying about your credit score.

Yes — Turo automatically applies discounted rates for longer bookings. Trips of 30 days or more unlock the deepest savings on monthly car rentals in Omaha, and many listings also discount seven-day and 14-day bookings.
Additional drivers can be added to your trip through the Turo app. The added driver must meet Turo's eligibility requirements. This is managed entirely in-app for your Omaha rental — no need to contact the vehicle owner about booking changes.
For stays of one to three months, a monthly rental on Turo is often significantly cheaper than a traditional lease once you add up the real costs. Leases require a down payment, monthly payments, maintenance budgets, and lock you into a multi-year contract — plus you eat the depreciation. On Turo, you see one transparent monthly price before you book, with no down payment and no long-term commitment. When you only need a car for a defined stretch, the math usually favors renting.
