Great car. Would remind to friends and rent again if needed. Great host. On time communication, clear directions, great experience. I would like the price to be a bit less, however, still less expensive than traditional car rental.

Kim's car was perfect for our quick trip to Oregon to visit our Dad. Car pick up and drop off the airport was a breeze saving loads of time in rental car company lines. Host had great communication with us during the trip. Thank you for the peace of mind of having reliable transportation during our stay!

The car was great and host communication was excellent. Will rent again.

Great car! Simple. Met my needs. The host was exceptional. They were extremely responsive, flexible and worked with me to help with my logistics. Would definitely rent from them again!

Ready to collect your airport car rental? Once you’ve collected your bags from the baggage claim area, head straight to the Long Term or Short Term parking lots just outside the airport terminal. You’ll find your rental vehicle parked and ready — no need to wait in line or navigate car rental companies inside. Prefer an in-person exchange? Head to the Ride-share area to collect your rental car.
All trip details, including the exact pickup rental location, will be shared through the Turo app. This is the easiest way to access directions, updates, and any last-minute info. If you have any questions, use Turo's in-app messaging to clarify details and get more information during your booking.
Turo collects a fee on behalf of Rogue Valley International Medford Airport that allows your host to deliver your car directly to the terminal area. If any parking charges apply when entering or exiting the lot, your host will clearly outline them in their listing prior to booking, so there are no surprises.

Contactless check-in and checkout
Many hosts offer contactless check-in and checkout, if their car has remote access technology, allowing you to find the car, unlock it, and be on your way without meeting them in person. Message your host for specific instructions.

Located just three miles from downtown, Medford Rogue Valley Intl is an easy 10-minute drive via Terminal Loop Parkway.
Driving in Medford is generally smooth and low-stress, with I-5 serving as the main route through town. This interstate makes it easy to reach nearby cities like Ashland and Grants Pass. Local roads such as Crater Lake Avenue and Riverside Avenue handle most daily traffic, though you may encounter brief delays around downtown during morning and late afternoon peak hours.
Speed limits typically range from 20–25 mph in neighborhoods to 55–65 mph on highways. Oregon law mandates seatbelt use for all passengers and prohibits handheld phone use while driving. During winter, expect snow or icy patches, particularly on mountain routes like Highway 62 — a popular path toward Crater Lake.
Medford’s natural surroundings make for beautiful drives, but you’ll also want to watch for wildlife and variable speed zones in rural areas. If you're planning to drive into forested regions or state parks, check for signage indicating access permits or parking rules, as some areas may incur an additional daily charge for recreational use.
Take extra care on scenic drives, and always allow extra travel time when weather or elevation changes are in play.
Medford has several convenient public parking options downtown, including Evergreen Garage and the Middleford Parking Structure — both just steps from the shops and restaurants along Main Street. Street parking is usually easy to find outside of event hours, and most meters accept coins and card payments. Availability is generally strong across the city, especially in off-peak hours.
There are no toll roads in or around Medford. Drivers can travel freely on all major highways and surface roads without incurring toll charges.
You’ll find no shortage of gas stations along Medford’s main arteries — Rogue Valley Highway, Barnett Road, and Crater Lake Avenue are lined with trusted names like Chevron, Shell, and Mobil.
EV drivers can easily charge up at EV charging locations like the Fred Meyer on Center Drive or the Tesla Supercharger near North Phoenix Road. With this growing network, renting an electric or hybrid car is a practical, eco-conscious option for local and regional travel.

Public transit is limited, and many of the area’s standout experiences — like wine tasting in Jacksonville, waterfall hikes in Prospect, or scenic drives toward the Rogue River — are only accessible by car.
