Brunson was so helpful for my first time using Turo, I could not of asked for a better host!!! The car did well and was a good drive. A bit of a mamajuana sort of smell when I picked it up and the plastic surfaces on the dash and seats were dusty or sticky - but for the price I paid I understood those sort of things may be a possibility. Overall I was happy and became comfortable using the car once I got settled!

I had a great experience renting this vehicle for a week. The car was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. The host was always responsive, communicated clearly, and made the entire process smooth from pickup to drop off. Any questions I had were answered quickly, which gave me peace of mind throughout the trip. I would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle free Turo experience. Thanks again for the excellent service!

This car was excellent and Tyrome is the best. Car was in immaculate condition and he even brought it to my hotel instead of the original location. Rent this car, you’ll love it.

This car was amazing—one of the best vehicles I’ve ever rented. The host was awesome, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and was very flexible. Pickup was quick, easy, and hassle-free. I would definitely rent from them again!
EASILY the Fastest, Smoothest, Best experience I've had renting on Turo! Tyrome is the BEST. Responds quickly to messages and a great communicator. Met me at the pickup spot with the vehicle which was super cool! Car drove AWESOME too! Will definitely look for any of his vehicles to rent whenever I'm in MKE. Thanks, Tyrome! 😁

Very easy process from start to finish with Ethan and Janelle! The car was in great shape, and clean. They gave clear instructions and communicated well. I will definitely use them again on my next trip to Milwaukee. I also found the location convenient from the airport.

Consider using alternative routes that bypass major highways, such as taking surface streets or less congested secondary roads. Timing is crucial; if possible, plan your trip to avoid the busiest periods, typically between 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays. Utilize traffic apps or local radio stations for real-time updates on congestion and accidents. If flexibility allows, consider traveling earlier or later than usual to avoid the worst of the rush. These cars offer ample space for passengers and luggage, perfect for day trips or weekend getaways. If you're planning to venture onto rural roads or state parks, consider a vehicle with all-wheel drive for added traction. In the warmer months, a convertible could provide an exhilarating way to enjoy Wisconsin's scenic beauty. Ultimately, the best car type depends on your specific plans, but prioritize comfort and reliability for an enjoyable exploration of Greendale and its picturesque surroundings.
Driving in Wisconsin's snowy winter conditions requires extra caution and preparation. First, ensure your rental car is equipped with winter or all-season tires for better traction. Always clear all snow and ice from your vehicle before setting out, including the roof, windows, and lights. Reduce your speed and increase your following distance to allow for longer stopping times. Brake gently to avoid skidding, and if you start to slide, steer in the direction you want to go. Be especially careful on bridges and overpasses, which freeze faster than regular roads. Keep your gas tank at least half full to prevent fuel line freeze-up, and pack an emergency kit with essentials like blankets, snacks, and a phone charger. Lastly, stay informed about weather forecasts and road conditions before and during your journey.
When driving from Greendale to other parts of Wisconsin, you'll be pleased to know that the state doesn't have any toll roads. Wisconsin's highway system is entirely free to use, which makes planning your trips easier and more cost-effective. You can freely explore the state's beautiful landscapes and vibrant cities without worrying about toll charges. However, it's worth noting that if your journey takes you into neighboring states like Illinois, you may encounter toll roads. Always check your route beforehand if you're planning an interstate trip. While Wisconsin's roads are toll-free, remember to budget for other travel expenses such as fuel and parking fees. Having a reliable rental car is essential for comfortable and worry-free exploration of Wisconsin's diverse regions.

Pack essentials like snacks, water, and a first-aid kit. Dress comfortably and in layers to adjust to changing temperatures. Take regular breaks to stay alert, ideally every two hours or 100 miles. Familiarize yourself with Wisconsin's traffic laws and speed limits. Consider downloading offline maps or bringing a physical map as backup. If traveling in winter, pack warm clothing and blankets. Lastly, keep your phone charged for emergencies. With proper preparation, your long-distance drive can be an enjoyable part of your Wisconsin adventure.
Driving in Greendale differs significantly from navigating Milwaukee's busier streets. Greendale, being a smaller village, has a more relaxed pace with less traffic congestion. Its streets are often wider and less crowded, making parking and maneuvering easier. In contrast, Milwaukee's urban environment presents more challenges. You'll encounter heavier traffic, especially during rush hours, and need to be more alert for pedestrians, cyclists, and public transportation. Milwaukee has more one-way streets and complex intersections, requiring careful attention to signage. Parking in Milwaukee can be more difficult and often requires payment, unlike Greendale's generally free and abundant parking. While Greendale offers a more laid-back driving experience, Milwaukee demands quicker reflexes and greater awareness of your surroundings. Regardless of location, having a reliable rental car enhances your driving experience in both settings.
Some hosts offer one-way trips as an Extra. When you search on Turo, you can filter for one-way trips to see what’s available in your area.
