Car was great a new experience for me actually. The host was great very nice and easy to communicate
Amazing vehicle amazing communication, would do it again 100 times over :))))

We recently rented Edison’s vehicle for a weekend trip to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Edison stepped in at the last minute when our original booking fell through, and his kindness and flexibility saved our trip. The car itself was immaculate, spotless inside and out, smelled fresh, and drove like a dream keeping my family safe and comfortable the entire time. Communication was flawless from start to finish; Edison was prompt, clear, and attentive. We highly recommend Edison as a host and would gladly rent from him again!

This was my first time using Turo and it was the best experience all because of Steve. He was a great communicator and made himself available for any questions that I had along the way. From start to finish, it was such a seamless process. The car was very suitable for my family and great on the road. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Thanks again Steve.

Car in near-perfect condition despite being 4 yrs old. Luric obviously takes care of this luxurious vehicle. Interior was spotless, as though it were being delivered from the factory. 2nd row even has HDMI-enabled displays for connection to a video source and he includes headphones and HDMI cables if you forgot yours. An extra pair of USB charging cables are also in the car! Cleaner exterior and interior than most mainstream rentals. I’d rent again when I need an above average vehicle in St Louis.
Wentzville puts you within reach of Cuivre River State Park, the Katy Trail, and historic St. Charles's riverfront district. You can explore the area's numerous wineries, visit Weldon Spring Conservation Area for hiking, or take scenic drives through Missouri's wine country. Having a rental car lets you discover hidden gems like local farmers markets, antique shops in nearby small towns, and seasonal festivals throughout the region. Your rental car becomes your gateway to experiencing both outdoor adventures and cultural attractions at your own pace.
Cuivre River State Park spans over 6,000 acres of diverse terrain perfect for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The park features multiple trail systems winding through forests and prairies where you might spot deer, wild turkey, and various bird species. Parking areas are available throughout the park, making it easy to access different trailheads and picnic spots with your rental SUV.
The Katy Trail stretches across Missouri as one of the longest rail-trails in the country, with access points near Wentzville. You can park your rental car at various trailheads and enjoy walking or cycling along this converted railroad corridor. The trail passes through small Missouri towns, farmland, and wooded areas, offering glimpses of local wildlife and scenic river views.
St. Charles features cobblestone streets, antique shops, and restaurants housed in buildings dating back to the 1800s. The riverfront area offers views of the Missouri River and hosts various festivals throughout the year. Your rental SUV provides convenient transportation to this historic district, with several parking options available for exploring the shops and dining establishments on foot.
By plane: Lambert-St. Louis International Airport serves the region with connections to major cities across the country. By car: Interstate 70 and Highway 61 provide direct access to Wentzville from St. Louis and other Missouri cities. By train: Amtrak service is available through nearby St. Louis Union Station.
Book early on Turo to secure the best SUV options for your Missouri adventure, especially during peak travel seasons and local festival periods. Look for rental SUVs with all-wheel drive if you plan to explore rural areas or visit during winter months when weather conditions can change quickly. Consider rental SUVs with features like backup cameras for easier parking in downtown areas, heated seats for comfort during cooler months, and ample cargo space for outdoor gear or shopping finds from local markets and antique shops.
Rental SUVs provide elevated seating positions that enhance visibility across Missouri's diverse landscapes, from the rolling hills around Wentzville to the scenic bluffs along the Missouri River. The spacious cargo areas accommodate camping gear, hiking equipment, and outdoor supplies needed for extended adventures throughout the state. Higher ground clearance helps navigate unpaved parking areas at state parks and natural attractions while maintaining comfort during longer drives across Missouri's varied terrain.
Reduce speed before entering curves and maintain steady acceleration through turns to account for an SUV's higher center of gravity. Keep both hands firmly on the steering wheel and avoid sudden steering inputs that could cause body roll on Missouri's winding rural routes near Wentzville. Use lower gears when descending hills to maintain control and reduce brake wear on the curving roads that connect small towns throughout the region.
All-wheel drive systems available in many rental SUVs provide enhanced traction during Missouri's unpredictable weather transitions, particularly during spring storms and winter conditions. The higher ride height offers better visibility through rain and fog that frequently occur in the Missouri River valley region. Larger tire contact patches and advanced stability systems help maintain control when weather conditions change rapidly during drives between Wentzville and surrounding areas.
The Katy Trail corridor offers multiple access points where rental SUVs can park while exploring Missouri's longest recreational trail stretching across the state. Highway 94 winds through Missouri wine country with elevated views that SUV passengers can enjoy from their higher seating position. Rural roads connecting Wentzville to Cuivre River State Park showcase rolling farmland and wooded areas best appreciated from an SUV's commanding view of the surrounding Missouri countryside.
Compact rental SUVs offer easier parking in Wentzville's downtown area and better fuel efficiency for exploring Missouri's attractions while still providing adequate cargo space for family gear. Full-size rental SUVs accommodate larger families and more luggage but may feel cumbersome on narrow country roads common throughout rural Missouri. Consider your group size and planned activities when choosing between compact maneuverability and full-size comfort for your Wentzville-based adventure.
Familiarize yourself with blind spot monitoring systems that help detect vehicles in adjacent lanes during highway driving across Missouri's major routes. Electronic stability control automatically adjusts braking and engine power to prevent rollovers, particularly important when navigating Missouri's hilly terrain around Wentzville. Learn the location of parking assist cameras and sensors that make maneuvering larger rental SUVs easier in tight spaces throughout Missouri's historic town centers and recreational areas.
