Overall, Pathfinder Car Rental was great, and I really appreciated the service. However, there were a few issues that made the pickup experience much more stressful than it needed to be.
The vehicle was full of sand when I received it, which was disappointing. The biggest issue was the instructions for where to pick up the vehicle. I was repeatedly told to follow the directions provided and that the vehicle was at Firestone, but when I arrived, it was actually at Dick’s Garage. This was very overwhelming, especially because I was in an Uber with a stranger trying to figure everything out.
I also ended up being charged extra because I needed assistance with the pickup process. I understand that help may come with an additional charge, but given that the instructions provided were incorrect, I feel the situation could have been handled differently.
Aside from the pickup confusion, my overall experience with Pathfinder was good. I would use them again, but I definitely recommend making the pickup instructions clearer and making sure the vehicle’s exact location is accurate so customers aren’t put in an uncomfortable or stressful situation.
