The car only lasted 2 days out of the 5 days I needed it for my trip. The car began smoking and ended up breaking down on the side of the road. Heads up to anyone reading, just go for a more expensive option, this car has way too many problems and shouldn’t even be on the app.
We apologize for the inconvenience. After towing and inspection, the mechanic confirmed the issue was not due to maintenance. The failed part is known to fail unexpectedly in this make/model and has been repaired. Brakes are in good condition and were recently replaced.

The car was functional for what we needed but really wasn’t in great shape for the price we paid. When we got the car there was a tire pressure warning light and when we went to fill the tire with air we saw that there was a screw in it. We notified the host. We had to fill the tire daily with air. Also seemed like there may be an issue with the transmission. I would not have been comfortable with my wife driving the car.
At the time of maintenance, no concerns were identified with the vehicle’s transmission. The clicking noise heard at startup is normal and does not affect drivability. An oil change and tire check were completed on March 4, 2026. The mechanic also advised that the oil change notification may remain on temporarily and should reset automatically after the vehicle has been driven a certain number of miles.
