Our experience with this host was excellent. We booked at the last minute, and when our travel plans changed unexpectedly, we asked if an even earlier pickup was possible. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and had the car ready ahead of schedule. Throughout the trip, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and supportive whenever we had questions. He even let us use his Supercharging account, which made charging much easier and saved us from having to worry about the billing.

The car itself is in great shape, especially for an older Tesla. It was very clean, drove well, and was a fun way to explore the island.

This was my first experience driving a Tesla, so there was definitely a learning curve. I was surprised by how much time we spent charging and by how limited the charging options were around Waikiki. That’s more of a Tesla ownership experience than anything related to this host or his vehicle.

The only suggestion I’d make is to include a J1772-to-Tesla adapter with the car if possible. Our condo had an EV charger, but because it wasn’t a Tesla connector, we couldn’t use it. Having that adapter would have made charging much more convenient during our stay.

Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this host. He was accommodating, communicative, and made the rental process incredibly easy. I’d happily rent from him again. Thank you
