The vehicle was great. Host was very responsive and honestly has changed my mind in renting from big rental companies, we had a wonderful trip and the CX-5 was immaculate. We did have a little issue with the low oil monitor but we just topped it off and they were wonderful in quickly responding that we would get reimbursed. Everything went extremely smoothly and we would recommend this vehicle and host to anyone looking in the Provo area.

5 stars for the host, but watch out for Turo (more below). The car was very clean and well equipped. I reserved this car for a ski trip and we needed to ensure we had a ski rack, AWD, and tires that meet Utah's highway requirements for winter storms - great car for this. The original car we rented was swapped out with this one a couple of days before our trip and there were no issues with the swap. The car was delivered as described. We originally requested a ski box for additional luggage storage - we were later informed that the box does not fit skis. The listing is incorrect as it mentions that the luggage roof box fits skis. I'm glad we sorted this out ahead of time with the host. The host was responsive and helpful, and the car was great!

Regarding Turo, be sure you have cell service to complete the checkout, and you allow ten minutes to complete the process before your time is up. We returned the vehicle to a parking garage without service and we were not able to complete the checkout until 15 minutes after our return time. Turo allows for a 30 minute grace period, however they charged 6 minutes after our return time (no 30 minute grace period). After a long hassle with Turo's customer service, I received a refund. Turo confirmed that Turo charged the late fee, and not the host. This is unfortunate for first time Turo users who get the car back in time, but are unaware of the importance of completing the checkout steps in the app before the return time. Using Turo's customer service bot was a joke. It took way too long to find a phone number to call. Lots of built in discouragement tactics; shady, and unfortunate. Makes me nervous about dealing with this company if there was a more severe issue.

Overall, the host was great, and we enjoyed our vehicle. If we use Turo again, we will give ourselves more of a buffer for returning the car.

Car was in immaculate condition; host was very communicative and helpful before and during the trip, making airport pick-up/drop-off a breeze. Also a great option for sharing one car for a 4-person ski trip with the ski rack and phone mount included on-request for no extra cost.
