The only reason the trip is getting. Five stars is because of the host the car was okay but the host was the best Turo is a scam and over charges for to much will never rent from Turo again the company app lies
The car was great and so was the host and his team at the dealership! It was perfect for my family and I. Exactly what we needed! Very roomie and it wasn’t terrible on gas on the highway! I would definitely rent again if I needed to rent another vehicle!

My first time using TURO. I chose to rent from this person for a few reasons. - They had a nice selection of vehicles. - They had excellent reviews - Not too far from Nashville - Plenty of milage included/no worry about going over - They are top rated on the app I rented the Lincoln Nautilis suv. It was everything I expected, and some. The car had right around 100k miles and ran great. Good tires. Cold ac. All electronics worked. It was clean. No weird noises or anything like that. The owner is very laid back. I will be back for sure.

Pickup was easy and fast, Adil was very responsive! The car is gorgeous, drives smooth and is so roomy for a family of four. Just a heads up this car takes premium gas only. The upside to this is the mileage was excellent. Would rent again! Thank you for letting us borrow a family vehicle!

Easy pick up and drop off. The vehicle was clean and drove smooth. We had enough space for our family of 5.

The vehicle rides very smoothly! Loved the color. A lot of safety features! Overall very satisfied with the rental vehicle.

Beautiful car, excellent drive, very comfortable to drive. Convenient and easy rental.

Car location was an easy pick up, smooth ride with really cold ac! Thomas’s was very helpful

Slight cigarette smell but wasn’t terrible. Drove very smooth, no mechanical issues. Was very clean!! Super easy pickup and return.

That car was smooth , first time renting from Turo and my first experience with this truck was great ! No issues whatsoever! Thanks Adil

Everything all ways good with the host. I will always book with him

Everything was excellent and amazing gas mileage! Host is always responsive!
Opting for an SUV rental in Clarksville opens up a world of possibilities for your Tennessee adventure. These vehicles offer ample space for passengers and gear, making them ideal for group trips or outdoor activities. The elevated driving position provides better visibility on Clarksville's varied terrain, while the robust build ensures a smooth ride on both city streets and country roads.
The Cumberland River Tailwater Scenic Byway offers a picturesque drive that showcases the beauty of the Clarksville region. This route winds along the Cumberland River, treating you to stunning views of limestone bluffs and lush forests. An SUV rental is perfect for this journey, providing comfort on long stretches and the ability to navigate any twists in the road. Pack a picnic to enjoy at one of the many scenic overlooks, and keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. The byway is particularly beautiful in fall when the foliage bursts into vibrant colors.
Just a short drive from downtown Clarksville, Dunbar Cave State Park is a natural wonder waiting to be explored. An SUV rental makes the trip a breeze, offering plenty of space for hiking gear and picnic supplies. The park features scenic hiking trails that wind through forests and along the cave entrance. While the cave itself is a marvel, the surrounding area is rich with wildlife and native plants. An SUV's higher ground clearance comes in handy when navigating the park's parking areas, which can be uneven in spots. Visit in spring or fall for the most comfortable hiking weather.
Fort Defiance Civil War Park offers a fascinating glimpse into Clarksville's history, and an SUV rental ensures you can visit comfortably in any season. During winter months, the SUV's all-wheel drive capability provides added safety on potentially slick roads leading to the park. The spacious interior allows you to bring along extra layers or rain gear, ensuring you're prepared for Tennessee's changeable weather. Take advantage of the SUV's comfort to explore the park's interpretive center and outdoor fortifications at your leisure. The elevated seating also offers great views of the Cumberland and Red Rivers as you approach the park.
When booking an SUV rental in Clarksville, consider your specific needs. For city exploration and short trips, a compact SUV might suffice, while a full-size model is better for longer journeys or larger groups. Check if the vehicle has features like a backup camera or parking sensors, which can be helpful in downtown Clarksville. If you're planning to visit state parks, opt for an SUV rental with good ground clearance. Remember to factor in fuel efficiency, especially for longer drives around Tennessee. Booking early is advisable, particularly during peak seasons or local events in Clarksville.

Another fantastic option is the Highland Rim Scenic Route, which showcases the region's natural beauty with panoramic views and charming small towns. For those seeking a mix of history and scenery, the Trail of Tears Commemorative Motor Route provides a poignant journey through Tennessee's past. These routes are well-suited for SUV rentals, offering comfort and stability on both paved roads and occasional gravel sections. Remember to pack a camera to capture the breathtaking vistas and consider stopping at local farms or orchards along the way for a true taste of Tennessee's rural charm.
SUV rental safety features like lane assist greatly enhance the driving experience in Clarksville's bustling streets. This advanced technology helps maintain proper lane position, especially useful when navigating busy areas like downtown Clarksville or the commercial district along Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Lane assist can alert drivers if they unintentionally drift, reducing the risk of side-swipe collisions in heavy traffic. Additionally, many SUV rentals offer blind-spot monitoring, particularly beneficial when changing lanes on multi-lane roads such as 101st Airborne Division Parkway. These features provide an extra layer of confidence, allowing drivers to focus more on enjoying Clarksville's sights while maintaining safety. For those unfamiliar with the city's layout, these assistive technologies can be especially helpful in reducing stress and enhancing overall driving comfort.
For families exploring Clarksville's attractions, a mid-size SUV rental with ample seating and cargo space is ideal. These vehicles offer comfort for city driving and easy parking at spots like the Customs House Museum or Dunbar Cave State Park. Look for models with entertainment systems to keep kids engaged during drives. On the other hand, adventure seekers heading to nearby parks like Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area might prefer a more rugged SUV rental with higher ground clearance and all-wheel drive. These features are beneficial for tackling varied terrain and potentially unpaved roads. Consider models with roof racks for outdoor gear or bikes. Regardless of the choice, both types of travelers will appreciate an SUV rental's versatility, making it easy to switch between Clarksville's urban attractions and the surrounding natural wonders.
Maneuvering a large SUV rental in downtown Clarksville's parking areas requires some skill and patience. Firstly, utilize your vehicle's backup camera and parking sensors if available — they're invaluable for tight spaces. When parallel parking along Franklin Street or other downtown roads, take it slow and use your mirrors effectively. For larger parking lots, like those near the River Walk or Austin Peay State University, try to find pull-through spots or park further away where spaces might be more generous. Be mindful of overhanging branches or low clearance signs in some of the older parts of downtown. If you're not comfortable with a particular spot, it's better to look for an alternative. Lastly, consider using public parking garages, which often have wider spaces more suitable for larger vehicles. With practice and these tips, you'll navigate Clarksville's parking scene with ease.
Renting a luxury SUV can significantly elevate your experience of touring Clarksville's historic sites. These premium vehicles offer superior comfort, ensuring a smooth ride as you traverse the city's varied terrain. The elevated seating position in a luxury SUV rental provides excellent visibility, allowing you to fully appreciate the architectural details of sites like the Smith-Trahern Mansion or Fort Defiance Civil War Park. Advanced climate control systems keep you comfortable while exploring in any weather, from humid summers to chilly winters. Many luxury SUV rentals also feature high-end sound systems, perfect for listening to audiobooks about Clarksville's rich history as you drive between locations. The spacious interiors are ideal for storing souvenirs or picnic supplies for a lunch break at Dunbar Cave State Park. Ultimately, a luxury SUV rental adds a touch of sophistication to your historic tour, matching the elegance of Clarksville's heritage.
Drivers should be prepared for Tennessee's diverse weather conditions when handling an SUV rental around Clarksville. During summer, be aware that high temperatures can affect tire pressure, so regular checks are essential. In spring and fall, sudden rain showers are common; ensure your SUV rental's wipers are in good condition and reduce speed on wet roads. Winter can bring occasional snow and ice, particularly in hilly areas around Clarksville. While SUV rentals generally handle well in these conditions, it's crucial not to overestimate their capabilities. Use the vehicle's traction control systems wisely and maintain a safe distance from other cars. Year-round, be cautious of wind gusts, especially when crossing bridges or driving larger SUV rentals. Familiarize yourself with the SUV's various driving modes if available, as they can optimize performance for different weather conditions. Always check local weather forecasts before setting out on your Clarksville adventure.
When selecting an SUV rental for a Clarksville trip, consider the vehicle's size in relation to your group and luggage needs. A compact SUV rental might suffice for couples, while families may prefer a full-size option. Fuel efficiency is crucial if you plan extensive driving around Tennessee. Consider an SUV rental with good city and highway mpg ratings. Comfort features like adjustable seating and climate control are important for longer drives to attractions like Land Between the Lakes. If you're visiting during winter, all-wheel drive could be beneficial for handling occasional icy conditions. Think about the tech features you'll need — navigation systems can be helpful for exploring Clarksville's outskirts. Lastly, consider the ease of parking, especially if you plan to spend time in downtown Clarksville where spaces might be tighter. Choose an SUV rental that balances your needs for space, efficiency, and maneuverability.
SUV rentals and minivans each offer unique advantages for group travel around Clarksville's popular destinations. SUV rentals typically provide better handling and a more engaging driving experience, which can be appreciated on scenic routes like the Natchez Trace Parkway. They often have higher ground clearance, beneficial for exploring some of Clarksville's more rugged outdoor areas. Many SUV rentals offer all-wheel drive, adding confidence in varied weather conditions. On the other hand, minivans excel in passenger comfort and space efficiency, ideal for larger families visiting attractions like Dunbar Cave State Park or the Customs House Museum. They usually offer easier access with sliding doors, a plus when loading and unloading at multiple stops. While SUV rentals often have a more stylish appearance, minivans generally provide more cargo space, useful for longer trips or shopping excursions in Clarksville. The choice ultimately depends on your group's size, comfort preferences, and planned activities.
