The vehicle had a few mechanical issues and I returned the car since 4/6/26 because it shut out on me briefly while I was in traffic. Luckily I was 10 mins away from home ,I got it to drive again and reached out to the host right away and he came and got his car that night. The car smelled like smoke once I turned the ac on and I also notified him about that as well. Hopefully he gets the car serviced before someone else rents it. I spoke to my mechanic and it might be a transmission problem.
This car has an automatic update ESS ( Engine Stop-Start) technology for saving fuel and reducing emissions. Some people don’t have enough knowledge about the ESS system. They think it’s a mechanical problem.
