The owner of this vehicle was absolutely wonderful, with great communication, very responsive, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Pickup and drop off were smooth, and their professionalism made the logistics simple and stress free.
Unfortunately, the condition of the car itself was extremely disappointing and made for an uncomfortable and concerning experience. From the moment I started driving, the engine sounded like it was on the verge of falling apart, and there were unusual noises during light acceleration and deceleration that felt like possible motor mount issues.
The air conditioning was a major issue. It would not turn on until the car had been running for 10 to 20 minutes, and even then, it struggled to adequately cool the vehicle. Traveling in the heat, especially with small kids, made this very inconvenient, as we had to start the car well in advance just to make it tolerable.
Additionally, the car lacked Bluetooth and navigation, which would have been helpful to know ahead of time.
While the car did serve its basic purpose of getting us from point A to point B, it did not meet expectations for comfort or safety. I truly appreciated the owner’s professionalism, but due to the vehicle’s condition, I would not recommend it, especially for families or summer travel. I hope a resolution can be reached regarding this experience.
