The car was infested with roaches, when we messaged the owner, the owner had told us that was normal since it is Hawaii.
My partner and I are born and raised from Hawaii and our vehicles never had roaches.
After we found the roaches, we did a further inspection of our own and lifted and folded the back seats down. We had found a mess of candy under it from the last person that had rented it last, we had to spend our own money on a vacuum and roach traps just to help with the roach problem throughout the rest of our trip.
We needed a seven seater so we couldn’t return the vehicle so we wanted the owner to be accountable but instead gave us a very sorry excuse.
