This van needs to go to a mechanic and have cleaned! Smells like cigarettes and engine is loud and shakes. Wouldn’t want anyone to drive on their vacation! Stay away from this host

I rented this car for a family trip for six and it was one of the worst vehicle rentals I’ve ever had. The car was filthy on the inside when we picked it up. Communication was difficult at first. They gave the wrong combination code to get into the car and it took almost an hour for them to get back to me. Car smelled like smoke the entire time. One head rest would not stay up and constantly folded down. Imagine trying to sit in that seat the entire time. It needed windshield wiper fluid and a rattling noise came from the right side air vent when we got on the freeway, every time. And it was simply too late to switch cars because our vacation was about to start. I understand that not every car is going to be in perfect shape, but this car simply had a lot of defects.
