A half hour after my rental time started I was told that the car had battery problems and was not there! They substituted the van with another van that was in such poor shape Turo removed it from the app.

Car was somewhat dirty at pickup. Also it only had about 1/3 tank of gas. We were given the wrong code to unlock the lock box in the original messaging. During the trip the van died multiple times and I had to purchase jumper cables and track people down to jump the van. This information was relayed to the host and they advised us being 60 miles away was too far to send someone to put a new battery in the vehicle. They said they would reimburse my expense for the jumper cables but I have yet to hear how they are going to go about doing that, so I am still holding out hope they will.

The car was slightly dirty like we found a pair of AirPods Pro’s and a wall plug. Also the instructors for pickup isn’t the most clear. I believe this due to the car being setup by previous renters. So they have us the wrong code since 2 lock box’s in the car and for us the ticket was in one and the keys in other. The other thing is the transmission has this very jerky behavior when needed shift when coming on or off the accelerator. The car AC works well and has power when you need to overtake.
