To rent a car on Turo in the US, you must be 18 years old or older.
The Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) runs east-west south of Toledo and requires tolls for travel toward Cleveland or into Indiana. Most local roads around Toledo Express Airport and downtown Toledo are toll-free, including I-75, I-475, and state routes. Electronic toll collection is available on the Ohio Turnpike, though cash payments are still accepted at most toll plazas.
Take Airport Highway east from Toledo Express Airport, then merge onto I-475 South toward downtown Toledo. Follow I-475 as it curves northeast and connects to I-75 North, taking Exit 201A for downtown Toledo. The route passes through suburban neighborhoods before reaching the urban core along the Maumee River.
Ohio requires all passengers to wear seatbelts, and children under 8 must be secured in appropriate car seats or booster seats. Speed limits vary from 25 mph in residential areas to 70 mph on major highways like I-75 and I-280. Right turns on red are permitted after a complete stop unless posted otherwise, and Ohio follows standard traffic laws with strict enforcement around school zones.
