Loved this car for our first vacation as a couple. Very good on gas and easy to drive. Trunk had ample room for our belongings. The Aux was easy to use to play music on our trip. The host was very communicative and accommodating when there were delays on picking up the car due to unforeseen circumstances. Looking forward to using this car again in the future. Only call out is the brakes felt weird whenever we’d tried to stop. We didn’t hear the brakes, it just took longer to stop when we would press the brake. I’d suggest them to be looked at.

Remove any valuable items from sight or store them in the locked trunk. Consider using a steering wheel lock for added security. Be mindful of low-hanging trees or signs that could potentially damage the convertible's roof. In Marietta Square, take advantage of the designated parking areas. Familiarize yourself with the convertible rental's roof mechanism so you can quickly close it if needed. How can guests safely operate the roof of a rental convertible they've rented in Marietta?

Operating a rental convertible's roof safely in Marietta requires attention to detail. Before attempting to open or close the roof, ensure the vehicle is stationary and the parking brake is engaged. Familiarize yourself with the specific model's roof mechanism — some may be manual, while others are automatic. For automatic roofs, hold the button until the process is complete; never force it. Be aware of your surroundings when opening the roof, ensuring there's enough clearance above and around the vehicle. In Marietta's warm climate, the car's interior can heat up quickly, so consider opening the roof while parked in shade. Always close the roof when leaving the car unattended, especially if there's a chance of rain. By following these guidelines, you'll enjoy the full convertible rental experience while exploring Marietta safely and comfortably.

What factors should guests consider when choosing a convertible rental for their trip around Marietta?

When selecting a convertible rental for your Marietta adventure, consider the vehicle's size and comfort level, especially for longer drives around Georgia. Think about the number of passengers and amount of luggage you'll be carrying. Fuel efficiency is important, particularly if you plan on exploring beyond Marietta. Consider the car's features — automatic transmission might be preferable for navigating city traffic, while cruise control could be useful for highway driving. The convertible rental's roof type is crucial; hardtops offer better insulation and security, while soft tops are typically lighter and more traditional. Don't forget to factor in the season — a convertible with good air conditioning is essential for Georgia's hot summers. Lastly, choose a style that matches your itinerary, whether it's a sporty model for zipping around Marietta or a more luxurious option for a sophisticated city experience.

How can guests protect themselves from sun exposure during long drives with the top down near Marietta?

Protecting yourself from sun exposure is crucial when enjoying convertible rental drives around Marietta. Always apply a high-SPF, broad-spectrum sunscreen to exposed skin, including often-forgotten areas like the back of your neck and ears. Reapply every two hours or more frequently if swimming or sweating. Wear UV-blocking sunglasses to protect your eyes and the delicate skin around them. A wide-brimmed hat can provide additional shade for your face and neck. Consider wearing lightweight, long-sleeved shirts and pants made from UV-protective fabrics for extended coverage. Stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water, as the combination of sun and wind can be dehydrating. If possible, plan your convertible rental trips during early morning or late afternoon to avoid the strongest midday sun. By taking these precautions, you can fully enjoy your open-top driving experience in Marietta while minimizing sun damage.
