Awesome host great car, hands down the best one I’ve ever driven. Very cool very well maintained and host was very communicative and straight forward. Rent it you won’t be disappointed!!!

Leonardo was a great host and was available whenever I needed his assistance he got right back to me and was ok with me having to change the dates of my reservation which was about 7 times due to the weather 😭 the sling shot caught attention of by standers every where we went (me and my daughter) which was china town and downtown I couldn’t wait til the sun went down and it got a little dark to turn the lights on it was beautiful and let’s not forget the price of renting was ok with me because I’ve seen others that was much higher I thought I’d never get the chance to rent one because I wasn’t paying $300 and so on dollars 😂😂😂thanks again leonardo

I loveeeeee the car such a beautiful 😍 ride. I literally 🔥 turn so many people heads all day

Car was great! Very clean. Easy to access. Good communication! 10/10 recommend.
Everything was amazing. Leonardo is a legend. He takes care of his customers like nobody else. Thanks again!

Car was super fun and amazing. Super fast and definitely a head turner . Host was responsive and fun to work with. Will be booking again.

Personally, this is my 4th time renting a Slingshot but the 1st time I've had one with a roof. The roof was a lifesaver with 105°. The sound system is A1, playing country music driving on Lake Shore Drive was a great time on its own. I rented the Slingshot to show up in style for an award show with my wife. It was a great time and appreciate the customer service.

5 stars. Renting the Corvette C8 was an amazing experience from start to finish. The car is absolutely beautiful, loud, fast, and turns heads everywhere you go — everything you’d hope for and more when renting a Corvette. The driving experience was honestly unreal. Rico was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain the ins and outs of the car, made sure I was comfortable handling it, and made both pickup and return super easy and smooth. Great communication and professionalism all around. Would definitely rent again.
Leo was absolutely great communication was excellent will always rent when wanting this type of vibe !!!!

Leonardo went above and beyond for our trip, he was on top of everything

Book your convertible car rental early on Turo to secure the best vehicle options for your Illinois adventure. Look for features like heated seats for cooler Chicago weather, keyless entry for convenience, and Apple CarPlay for navigation through the area. Consider choosing a rental convertible with all-wheel drive if you plan to explore during different seasons. Your rental should match your planned activities, whether that's leisurely drives through Lincolnwood's neighborhoods or trips to nearby Chicago attractions.
Lincolnwood's proximity to Chicago makes it perfect for exploring the Windy City's lakefront drives with the top down. The scenic routes through Illinois offer stunning views of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago's skyline that are best experienced in a rental convertible. Spring through fall weather in the Chicago area provides ideal conditions for open-air driving adventures.
Modern convertible cars feature either soft fabric tops or retractable hardtops that operate through hydraulic or electric systems. Most convertibles allow you to lower or raise the roof at the touch of a button, typically requiring the vehicle to be stationary or moving at very low speeds. The process usually takes 15-30 seconds and transforms your enclosed car into an open-air driving experience perfect for Illinois summer days.
Always secure loose items before lowering the roof, as wind can easily carry objects out of the vehicle during your Chicago area adventures. Wear sunglasses and apply sunscreen since convertible driving increases sun exposure, especially important during Illinois summer months. Keep the roof mechanism clean and check weather forecasts before extended drives around Lincolnwood and surrounding areas.
Lake Shore Drive offers spectacular views of Lake Michigan and Chicago's skyline, making it ideal for rental convertible enthusiasts. The Illinois Prairie Path provides a scenic alternative through suburban landscapes and forest preserves near Lincolnwood. Sheridan Road winds through charming North Shore communities, offering glimpses of historic mansions and lakefront parks perfect for open-air exploration.
Pack light and secure all items in closed compartments or the trunk to prevent wind from scattering belongings during your Illinois road trip. Choose clothing that won't blow around easily and bring layers since convertible driving can feel cooler than expected, especially near Lake Michigan. Store sunglasses, hats, and hair ties in easily accessible spots for quick adjustments while exploring the Chicago area.
Illinois weather can change quickly, so monitor forecasts before planning convertible adventures around Lincolnwood and Chicago. Wind speeds above 25 mph can make open-top driving uncomfortable, while temperatures below 60°F may require the roof to stay up for comfort. Rain and snow obviously necessitate a closed roof, but partly cloudy days often provide the perfect balance of sun and comfortable temperatures for rental convertible enjoyment.
