The car ride was great. Very minor issues that were addressed with host and dealt with almost immediately. Would recommend for you car rental needs!
Fantastic rental experience from start to finish. The owner was very communicative and made pickup and drop-off quick and easy. The car was in perfect condition inside and out, and it drove like new the entire trip. Everything was exactly as described, and the whole process was seamless. I would definitely rent this car again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Turo experience.

10 out of 10. Life Saver!! came in clutch at 4am i needed a car urgently and great on gas and price and this is was the on. definitely made me a returning customer🫡

Fun and affordable rental car, easy pick up. Would definitely recommend for someone on a budget who loves a little zoom zoom :)
Giving five stars to the host who provided a clean car,, professional, and courteous, and did as much as I believe he could. . Just know that the app seems to have some bugs and almost always works well, but almost isn’t good enough when one of those issues is about how much money is being taken from your account being double but your host is saying it should to extend your rental a day.. and do not trust that white text just below where you type your message as you enter your request for extension that reads “You'll only be charged or refunded if your change is approved.” That may be true for some host., but your host may have a setting switched so that these are automatically approved. You’ll know this because if you type a message into the message box requesting that whoever is reviewing for approval to adjust the pricing to what the host told me it should be before charging, and if this can’t be done, then please DO NOT APPROVE This request”, you will see that your “request” was approved and charged instantly. Ask your host honest like this one for me say something like I didn’t even review it, they get approved automatically. Then if your persistent enough and have the time to chase down a customer support rep to hear your issue and relay all of this, their response wil be “well yes it was approved before you were charged…” you might reply with, well who approved it,? How could they review it so quickly? And how did they miss the message I wrote, in the box where you ask customer to write messages relating to this request they reviewed and approved? They will know they’ve been cornered with logic and escalate the call to either an hang up on you or if you’re even luckier to get through to a level up in authority who may possess the answers to these questions and have ability to help? You won’t be told that, just you would hope that’s the reason they say they are transferring you.. This person will probably be very skilled at deescaltion techniques and has earned this role because of an incredible ability to use the 50 English words they know, they will demonstrate an honestly admirable level of acting like they are doing everything they can to help you,. Which is not good, but it doesn’t matter it doesn’t have to be.. The lesson you may gather from this experience is that winning is not about who’s right or wrong, or more prepared to show it, the key to winning every time is JUST KEEP GOING! Unfortunately I learned that afterwords cause she railroaded my ass just by continuing to say words that meant nothing and ended up with her just trying different combinations and orders of the words that she knew cause she ran out things she could say that might sound like a response. It doesn’t actually matter when no one is there to actually have to answer to anything.l maybe the most disappointing part of this experience was the lack of an attempt to even pretend like they are trying to do anything aside from avoid you until you go away. And if you had any bit of hope left that they would email you after the call to escalate to the next tier of management who will sure be surely be invested in their business enough to make sure they quickly resolve this very simple and clear issue with undeniable proof that a customer was double charged according to what they should have been as stated by to hosts expectation of price, nor the expectation about the series of events involved in submitting this request would happen before being charged. You would think they would just want to give you the $37 back to finally get you to go away. But, this too, won’t happen. You won’t be emailed,, your host can’t help you, Turo will continue operating just as they do, and life goes on with your $37 having been taken to some bank in the Philippines. Still maybe a better route and def cheaper than renting from Enterprise.
Great reservation once again! You won’t be disappointed if you rent this car!

Awesome car really great on gas mileage, dude.Hella, cool super easy to deal with awesome trip.Yeah man
Everything went great. The car ran very well no problems whatsoever other than the fact that I have my first tape stolen but other than that very good reliable, I would rent it again and I would referred it into someone else. Thank you.I’m
Absolutely fantastic rental experience. Pickup and dropoff were incredibly easy, and the owner had great communication the entire time. The interior and exterior were literally like new, and the car drove amazingly smooth. The adaptive cruise control made the trip so much more comfortable and stress-free. Easily one of the best Turo rentals I’ve had and I’d definitely rent from them again.
That car was fantastic! Very reliable and amazing gas mileage. So beyond happy that we chose this car for our trip.

The pickup was convenient and easy to adjust to my own schedule. I forgot my handicapped placard in a rental I returned and when I picked up a new rental they put it inside for me. It was thoughtful and made my experience even better. I’ve been using the service through due long process of getting my car repaired after a collision. I’m very appreciative that they offer the service without deposits in this situation and economy. Thank you!!

Great car smooth ride comfortable and overall great experience once I got on the road! Definitely enjoyed the car beautiful and well kept will rent again!

Consider taking a leisurely drive along the American River Parkway, which winds through lush greenery and offers stunning river views. Another option is to head east towards the Sierra Nevada foothills, where you can explore charming Gold Rush towns and enjoy picturesque mountain vistas. For a taste of California's famous wine country, venture west to Napa Valley, where rolling vineyards and quaint wineries dot the countryside. Remember to choose a vehicle that suits your adventure, whether it's a comfortable sedan for cruising or an SUV for tackling varied terrain. Always check local road conditions and weather forecasts before embarking on your journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Navigating peak hour traffic in the Sacramento area requires some strategic planning. Consider timing your trips outside of rush hours, typically between 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays. If possible, use navigation apps that provide real-time traffic updates to help you avoid congested areas. Sacramento's grid system can be advantageous; familiarize yourself with alternative routes to bypass busy main roads. When renting a car in North Highlands, opt for a vehicle with good fuel efficiency for city driving. Consider exploring Sacramento's public transit options for certain trips to avoid parking hassles. Remember to stay patient and allow extra time for your journeys during busy periods. By planning ahead and remaining flexible, you can make your driving experience in the Sacramento area much more pleasant and efficient.
North Highlands and the surrounding Sacramento area offer various parking options near popular attractions. Many public spaces and shopping centers provide ample parking for visitors. When exploring downtown Sacramento, consider using one of the city's parking garages or lots, which often offer reasonable rates and are conveniently located near major attractions. For outdoor adventures, parks like Gibson Ranch County Park typically have designated parking areas. If you're planning to visit the nearby Aerospace Museum of California, they offer free on-site parking for visitors. Remember to always check parking signs for any time limits or restrictions. Some attractions may have limited parking, so arriving early can help secure a spot. Consider renting a compact car for easier maneuverability in urban areas and parking lots.
For exploring North Highlands and the surrounding California region, versatile vehicles are ideal. A mid-size sedan like a Toyota Corolla offers good fuel efficiency for city driving and longer trips. If you're planning to venture into the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains or explore off-the-beaten-path locations, an SUV or crossover might be more suitable, providing better ground clearance and handling on varied terrain. For those interested in fuel efficiency and eco-friendly options, consider renting an electric vehicle, as California has a well-developed charging infrastructure. If you're traveling with family or a group, a minivan can offer ample space and comfort. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your specific itinerary, the number of passengers, and personal preferences. Consider factors like fuel efficiency, comfort, and storage space when selecting your rental car for your North Highlands adventure.
While North Highlands itself doesn't have toll roads, drivers should be aware of potential tolls when venturing to nearby areas. If you plan to explore the wider California region, you might encounter toll roads, especially when traveling towards the San Francisco Bay Area. The Golden Gate Bridge, for example, uses electronic tolling. When renting a car, it's important to discuss toll payment options with your car provider. Some rental agreements may include toll coverage, while others might require you to pay tolls separately. Always carry some cash and keep your rental agreement handy in case you need to use toll roads. It's also wise to familiarize yourself with the FasTrak system, California's electronic toll collection system, which is used on many of the state's toll roads and bridges.
When renting a car in North Highlands, it's important to be prepared for California's diverse weather conditions. The area experiences hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. During summer months, ensure your rental car has functioning air conditioning and consider renting a car with tinted windows for added comfort. For winter driving, especially if you plan to visit nearby mountain areas, choose a vehicle with good traction, such as an SUV. While snow is rare in North Highlands, rain can make roads slippery, so ensure your rental car has quality tires. Always check the weather forecast before your trip and adjust your plans accordingly. Pack appropriate gear like sunglasses for bright days and a light jacket for cooler evenings. Remember to keep the vehicle well-ventilated and never leave valuables visible inside, regardless of the weather.
Driving in North Highlands differs significantly from navigating rural California backroads. North Highlands, being part of the Sacramento metropolitan area, features more urban driving conditions with traffic lights, multiple lanes, and higher traffic volumes. You'll encounter more frequent stops and starts, and need to be alert for pedestrians and cyclists. In contrast, rural California backroads often have fewer lanes, limited signage, and potentially unpaved sections. These roads may have sharp curves, steep gradients, and wildlife crossings. When renting a car, consider a versatile vehicle that can handle both environments. For rural drives, ensure you have a full tank of gas as service stations can be sparse. Always carry a physical map as backup, as cellular service can be unreliable in remote areas. Regardless of where you're driving, always adhere to speed limits and local traffic laws.
North Highlands and its surrounding areas offer numerous reliable gas stations for refueling your rental car. You'll find several options along major roads such as Watt Avenue and Madison Avenue. Many of these stations are open 24/7, providing convenience for early morning or late-night refueling. Some popular chains in the area include well-known brands that often offer competitive prices. When venturing outside North Highlands, you'll find gas stations conveniently located along highways and in nearby towns. It's advisable to refuel before embarking on longer journeys, especially if you're heading towards more rural areas where gas stations might be less frequent. Many modern gas stations in the area also offer additional services like car washes and convenience stores. Remember to familiarize yourself with your rental car's fuel type to ensure you're using the correct grade of gasoline.
Some hosts offer one-way trips as an Extra. When you search on Turo, you can filter for one-way trips to see what’s available in your area. Be sure to check with your host for any specific arrangements.
Renting a car for multiple days typically offers better value, as rates can vary and longer rentals may provide savings compared to daily rates if you need the vehicle for several days.
