The car itself was great, and I had no complaints about the vehicle. Unfortunately, the drop-off process was frustrating. As a first-time Turo user, I returned the car, uploaded the required photos, and messaged the host to confirm whether there was anything else I needed to do. I wanted to make sure I followed the proper procedure.
Unfortunately, the host’s responses were vague and confusing, which led to unnecessary back-and-forth. Although our conversation continued past the grace period, the car had been returned and the photos uploaded before the deadline. Despite this, I was charged a late fee. I felt this was unfair given that I had completed the return on time and was simply trying to clarify the process. I also received no response when I followed up about the charge.
Overall, the car was good, but the lack of clear communication and the handling of the late fee made the return experience disappointing.

I always usually rent my cars with the same hosts but I had to look elsewhere for this last rental. I could not have had a better experience renting with Alex. Car is in immaculate condition and runs like a dream!! Had a smooth drive to Vegas and back. Alex was also helpful with me needing to extend the car for a few hours. Pick up and drop off was easy and smooth. Will definitely be renting with Alex again and would recommend to anyone! 100/10⭐️
