Words can’t describe how amazing Samner was. The absolute best Turo trip ever. I first rented his 25 Hyundai and I wanted to extend it, but it was already booked so he let me rent his 24 Hyundai and it was just as amazing. But through that process of renting his other car I had an emergency with my daughter and he was so amazing throughout the process till my reservation was complete. He showed me care and understanding while I was waiting for Turo so I could leave to the hospital were my daughter was. I have never got that type of care from anyone and it was so comforting and he was a blessing. I would recommend anyone to rent with Samner because you would get more than just an experience in a nice vehicle. If I need to rent another car again I will be looking for his vehicle. Literally the best I have ever gotten. Such good people. I really thank him for allowing me and my family to rent with him. Everyone needs to rent with him NOW..!!!
This was my first car rental using this app, and by far, it is the best car rental service offered. Jorge is absoluting the best host to rent from! The vehicle I rented was in excellent condition, very well maintained, clean inside and out, and problem free!! In fact, it was much more than I was expecting for the price I paid!! Mike was fantastic to rent from! Communication was quick, clear, and courteous from start to finish. The car drove amazingly well, was very comfortable, and the heated seats were a great bonus. Overall, I had a great experience renting from Tara on Turo. My original vehicle wasn’t available, but she handled the switch to a 2015 Hyundai Elantra very smoothly, and the transition was easy with clear communication. The car itself drove well and got me where I needed to go without issues. The only downside was that the USB charger wasn’t working, which I reported during the trip. They responded and said they would fix it which was reassuring . I would strongly recommend as well as rent from Tara again.!

Car was clean on pick up, easy to find at the airport, and very fun to drive! Dark window tint was great for the FL sun and it had every feature we needed for our vacation! Dontral was responsive and allowed me to change the reservation many times due to constantly changing flights. We would rent from Dontral again!

The car was very safe, reliable, clean, fuel efficient, and had absolutely no mechanical or internal issues during my entire rental period. To rent on Turo, you must create a Turo account, have a valid driver's license, get approved to drive on Turo, and be 18 years old or older in the US, 21 years old or older in Australia, or 23 years old or older in Canada. In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver's license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver's license for at least 2 years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles. When you're booking your first trip, you'll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver's license and some other information. In most cases, you'll get approved immediately, and you'll be set for all future road trips, day trips, and business trips!

How does insurance work on Turo?
No, you don't need personal insurance coverage to rent on Turo. In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host's vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking on Turo in the US, you'll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that's right for you. On each trip, you're covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.* In New York state, you'll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you're covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.
What kind of license do I need to rent on Turo?
Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver's licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn't accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner's permit/instruction permits are not accepted.
