Host is amazing, but the car’s A/C had consistent issues. I would say the car is fine for short drives of an hour or under, but I had a 3.5 hour drive twice on my trip and the airflow lessened to a trickle both times after about an hour. The only thing that fixes it is to turn the car all the way off and take the key off and just sit for 5 or 10 minutes. It was just a real pain. But the host was very understanding and apologetic and I genuinely don’t for a second believe he rented me the car knowing about the issue. He was very nice about the whole thing.

Since then, the vehicle has been serviced by Volkswagen, and the A/C is now working properly and blowing cold.
