I do not recommend this vehicle. I rent from Turo often and had never needed to leave a review below 5 stars until this. The key provided was uncut and unusable to get in and out of the car. There was no functional backup key so if the key fob was missing it causes a major inconvenience. The car itself was in very poor condition, The radio didn’t work and was full of static, there was a loud noise dangling from under the front-right side of the hood, and the windshield wipers smeared water, making driving in the rain extremely unsafe, I had to wait until the rain stopped to drive the car. The interior smelled strongly of urine and cigarettes, making it unpleasant to be inside the vehicle. Additionally, the car was over 2,000 miles past due on inspection, raising serious safety concerns. Overall, the host did not provide a properly functioning vehicle, once the key fob got lost the charges for the key replacement were unreasonable given the car’s condition and lack of proper equipment while I still had the physical uncut key I still had to pay $200+ for towing since the only way to unlock the vehicle was with the key fob.
