“Great van to rent — comfortable, and drove really well. It was very responsive on the road and had useful features like a phone holder, Bluetooth connection, and a reverse camera which made the trip much easier and more convenient. Overall, a smooth and hassle-free experience. Would definitely rent again!”
Amazing van super spacious very welcoming and fast and easy, will definitely rent again
Jimmy is a great host, communication was on point! Van was clean, easy to drive and I had no problems. They dropped off the van earlier than the drop off time which was great, so I didn’t have to worry about that. I will definitely rent from Jimmy again, especially this van!
Excellent van, really loved it and it was easy to collect and drop off. Arrik was super accommodating. Would definitely rent again.

Awesome van, very handy, and the trolley was such a nice touch. John was very accomodating and an excellent host to deal with. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great experience renting the iLoad. The van was clean, reliable, and drove really well. Weverton was friendly, easy to deal with, and made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend.
Van ran well, hosts were easy to deal with, pick up and return at airport garage was pretty straightforward, good alternative to major car rental companies.
Great van, and very easy process by host. Will definitely rent again in the future
Although it was our first time using this app to rent a car for a trip and we weren’t very familiar with some of the procedures, our Australia trip still ended very smoothly and safely. The owner was also very friendly and responded to messages promptly. Definitely recommended.
The van was in great shape. Ed was a very friendly and helpful host. I'd rent from Ed again.
Everything was great and the van fit our needs perfectly for our trip. Thank you, Gregory!
Best place to rent a van, if I ever need to rent a vehicle definitely going here. Highly recommend, they are flexible and will work with you.
Had a great experience renting this Hiace van. Collection and return process was smooth and hassle-free. The van was reliable, clean, and had relatively low mileage, which made the drive comfortable. There were a few old scratches and dents, so I’d recommend taking photos before driving off just for reference, but everything was straightforward and as expected. Overall, a very good rental experience.

Amazing van in pristine condition. Drove like a dream. Comfortable fit our family of 8 with a baby cat seat, stroller, and lots of luggage. We’d definitely rent again!

Very Convenient van for group trips, comfortable to drive and was a breeze to deal with the host.
The Van was great, held as much people i needed to tour the family & friends. Lots of space at the back storage for luggages. The 2 issue i have was the suspension squeaking at the rear of the Van and AC filter at the front might need to change. Overall it was a great rental for 2 days.

High Street, Preston's bustling commercial hub, is a prime location where a van rental proves invaluable for businesses and shoppers alike. For local entrepreneurs, a van offers the perfect solution for transporting goods, making deliveries, or setting up shop at the Preston Market. The van's size allows for easy loading and unloading, while its manoeuvrability makes navigating the busy streets a breeze. Visitors can take advantage of the ample space to store purchases from the diverse range of shops and eateries. With dedicated loading zones and nearby parking options, a hired van enhances your High Street experience.
The Preston Farmers Market, a popular attraction for locals and visitors, becomes even more enjoyable with a van hire. The spacious vehicle allows you to transport your fresh produce, artisanal goods, and unique finds with ease. Whether you're stocking up on local delicacies or purchasing larger items like plants or furniture, a van provides the necessary room and convenience. The market's ample parking facilities accommodate vans, making it simple to load up your purchases. With a hired van, you can extend your market day to include picnics in nearby parks or visits to surrounding attractions, maximising your Preston experience.
When booking a van in Preston, consider the size that best suits your needs, whether it's for moving, group travel, or business purposes. Look for features like sliding doors and reverse cameras for added convenience in urban settings. Plan your routes in advance, taking into account Preston's mix of busy streets and residential areas. For longer trips, factor in fuel efficiency and rest stops. Remember to check the van's condition before departure and familiarise yourself with local parking regulations. Choosing the right van ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience, whether you're exploring Preston or venturing further afield.
When looking for van rental options in Preston, Victoria, guests on Turo can find convenient pickup locations throughout the area. Popular spots include residential areas near High Street, where many hosts on Turo offer their vehicles. The Preston Market precinct is another bustling location where guests might find suitable van pickup points. When choosing a spot, consider proximity to public transport links like the Preston train station for easy access. It's also wise to look for locations with ample parking space to ensure a smooth handover process. Guests should communicate with their host on Turo to confirm the exact pickup location and any specific instructions. Remember to factor in local traffic patterns, especially during peak hours, when planning your van hire pickup in Preston.
Van rentals in Preston offer unique advantages for exploring Victoria's scenic routes. These spacious vehicles provide ample room for passengers and gear, making them ideal for group trips or families. Vans typically offer better visibility due to their elevated seating position, allowing you to fully appreciate Victoria's stunning landscapes. The extra storage space is perfect for packing picnic supplies, camping equipment, or surfboards for coastal adventures. While vans may consume more fuel than smaller vehicles, they compensate with comfort and versatility. Consider factors like parking availability and your itinerary when choosing between a van hire and other options for your Victorian road trip.
When navigating Preston's urban areas in a hired van, be mindful of height restrictions. Always check the vehicle's height and compare it to posted limits before entering car parks or driving under bridges. Pay close attention to signage indicating low clearances, especially in older parts of Preston. When parking, look for designated spaces suitable for taller vehicles. Consider using GPS navigation systems that include height restriction information for vans. If unsure about a particular route, it's best to err on the side of caution and seek alternative paths. Familiarise yourself with the van's dimensions before setting out, and practise reversing and manoeuvring in open spaces to boost your confidence in tighter urban environments.
For family trips around Preston and the Victorian countryside, consider van models that balance comfort, space, and fuel efficiency. Look for vans with flexible seating arrangements, allowing you to accommodate both passengers and luggage easily. Models with sliding doors on both sides can be particularly convenient for families with young children. Vans equipped with modern safety features like lane departure warnings and backup cameras are ideal for long drives through the countryside. Some vans offer built-in entertainment systems, perfect for keeping kids occupied on longer journeys. When selecting a van rental, consider your specific needs, such as the number of passengers, amount of gear, and the types of roads you'll be travelling on during your Victorian adventure.
Effectively using mirrors and parking assist features is crucial when manoeuvring vans in Preston's tight spaces. Adjust all mirrors properly before setting off, ensuring you have a clear view of your surroundings. Use side mirrors to gauge your distance from obstacles and other vehicles. When parking, utilise the van's backup camera if available, but don't rely solely on it — combine it with mirror checks and over-the-shoulder glances. Take advantage of parking sensors, which can alert you to nearby obstacles. Practise reverse parking in open areas to build confidence. When in particularly tight spots, consider asking a passenger to guide you from outside the van. Remember, it's always better to take your time and make multiple small adjustments than to rush and risk damaging the hired vehicle.
Driving a van in Preston requires adjustments compared to handling a car. Vans have a higher centre of gravity, which can affect stability, especially when cornering or in strong crosswinds. Braking distances are typically longer due to the van's increased weight, so maintain a greater following distance. The van's larger size means wider turning circles, requiring more space for manoeuvres. Acceleration may be slower, particularly when fully loaded. Be mindful of the van's height when approaching low bridges or entering car parks. Reversing can be more challenging due to limited rear visibility, so use mirrors and parking assist features carefully. Overall, driving a hired van demands more anticipation and gentler inputs for steering, accelerating, and braking to ensure a smooth and safe journey around Preston.
Preston and its surrounding areas offer numerous scenic routes ideal for van road trips. The Great Ocean Road, while not in the immediate vicinity, is a must-visit destination, offering breathtaking coastal views and ample stopping points perfect for vans. Closer to Preston, consider exploring the Yarra Valley wine region, where spacious vans are great for transporting picnic supplies and wine purchases. The Dandenong Ranges provide beautiful forest drives with plenty of lookout points and picnic areas suitable for vans. For a mix of landscapes, head towards the Mornington Peninsula, where you can enjoy both coastal and rural scenery. These routes offer a variety of experiences, from winding mountain roads to expansive coastal highways, all well-suited for comfortable van hire travel.
Vans and SUVs each have their strengths for group travel around Preston and Victoria. Vans typically offer more interior space and headroom, making them ideal for larger groups or families with lots of luggage. They often provide better visibility due to their higher seating position, enhancing the sightseeing experience. Vans can be more fuel-efficient for larger groups compared to multiple SUVs. However, SUVs generally offer better manoeuvrability in urban areas and might be more comfortable for long drives. They also tend to have better performance on varied road conditions. Your choice between a van rental and an SUV should depend on your group size, the amount of gear you're carrying, and the specific areas of Victoria you plan to explore.
When choosing a van hire in Preston, prioritise safety features that enhance your driving experience. Look for vans equipped with electronic stability control, which is particularly useful for larger vehicles. Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) are essential for safe stopping, especially on Victoria's diverse road conditions. Airbags, including side curtain airbags, provide crucial protection for all passengers. Consider vans with blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warnings, as these features are particularly helpful when driving larger vehicles. Backup cameras and parking sensors can greatly assist with manoeuvring in tight spaces. For long trips around Victoria, adaptive cruise control can reduce driver fatigue. Also, check for proper tyre condition and the presence of a spare tyre. Prioritising these safety features ensures a more secure and comfortable journey in your hired van.
