Sin City is so much more than flashing lights and slot machines. Outside the compulsory stroll along the Vegas Strip, you’ll find plenty more to explore in the old downtown, Chinatown, Hoover Dam, and the natural Nevada landscape outside the city.
Instead of a regular Las Vegas car rental, book a car on Turo — whether it’s a flashy convertible supercar or a rugged, desert-ready SUV — that lives up to the occasion so you can properly experience all that Vegas has to offer.

Get a bird’s eye view of the skyline of hotels from the High Roller Bar at The LINQ — touristy, maybe, but people flock for a reason. For an extra fee, you can have a bartender serve drinks through your half-hour rotation around the world’s largest observation wheel.
Hop on the zipline over the Fremont Street Experience in the old downtown for a bird’s eye view of it all. You have the option to upgrade to the Zoomline, which allows you to fly “superhero style” rather than seated.

Book a car, fill up the fuel tank, then cruise to the northern outskirts of Las Vegas to start this scenic 60-mile loop. Route 157’s lovely curves lead right into the heart of the Mt. Charleston Wilderness Area, where drivers can stop for hiking or a picnic.
Leave the congested Las Vegas streets, grab a tank of fuel, head south to Boulder City, then take the scenic Lakeshore Road up on the way back. This wide-open route travels along the western bank of Lake Mead and through the rocky Nevada landscape.
