Of all the Chevrolet rentals on Turo, the Silverado 1500 is the full-size light-duty pickup made for hauling, moving, and trips with gear. Book a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck rental from a local vehicle owner and pick the engine, cab, and bed that fit your plans.
The Silverado 1500 pairs a full-size cab with a real bed, so one truck covers the work and the weekend.
The Silverado 1500 gives you a roomy full-size cab and engine choices that include two V8s and a Duramax turbo-diesel. Pick the V8 when you want power, or the diesel when you want efficiency for long drives.
Booking works like other pickup truck rentals nationwide on Turo: browse listings, compare prices, ratings, and reviews, then book. You arrange pickup or delivery with a local vehicle owner — handy when you'd rather book from a person than a dealership. Silverado 1500 listings on Turo appear in cities like Las Vegas.

The 2026 Silverado 1500 offers four engines, so you can match the listing to the job. The 2.7L TurboMax makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft through an eight-speed automatic. The 5.3L V8 (355 hp), 6.2L V8 (420 hp, 460 lb-ft), and 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel (305 hp, 495 lb-ft) use a 10-speed automatic.
The Silverado 1500 carries up to 2,260 lbs of payload when equipped with the 2.7L engine, Regular Cab, long bed, and 2WD. That's plenty for moving day, a room full of furniture, or a weekend's worth of project supplies.
Available beds include 69.9-inch and 98.2-inch lengths. The longer bed fits lumber, ladders, and flat-pack boxes with less creative stacking (your back will thank you). Check each listing for cab and bed details before you book, so the truck you pick matches the load you're planning.
The Silverado 1500 offers up to 14 available trailering camera views, giving you a clearer look around a full-size truck. Those views turn tight parking spots, reversing out of driveways, and lining up a trailer hitch into far less of a guessing game.
Hitching a trailer usually calls for a spotter and plenty of hand signals — extra camera angles help you line it up on your own. Camera availability varies by trim, so check the listing to see which views your Silverado 1500 includes before you book.
A Silverado 1500 brings full-size capability to moving day, home projects, and trips that need serious gear. It's the best fit when you need real bed space plus a cabin for up to six, so the crew and the cargo travel together. Haul a couch across town on Saturday, then pack bikes and camping gear for a long weekend — one truck handles both.

The Silverado 1500 stands out for crew seating, diesel efficiency, and configurations that fit nearly any task.
The Silverado 1500 seats up to six in select configurations, so you can bring the whole crew without a second vehicle. That's a rare combo — a cabin for six and a full-size bed out back.
Picture a job site run with the team on board, or a family trip where the luggage rides in the bed instead of on laps. Seating varies by cab and configuration, so check the listing for the exact seat count before you book. If six seats are a must, confirm it in the listing details first.
The 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel reaches an EPA-estimated 25 mpg combined, the best of any Silverado 1500 engine. It also delivers 495 lb-ft of torque, so you get pulling power with fewer stops at the pump.
That pairing pays off on long highway days, whether you're moving across state lines or hauling gear to a vacation rental. Diesel listings need diesel fuel, so check the fuel type on the listing and plan your gas station stops around it. You'll spend more time driving and less time refueling.
Picking the right Silverado 1500 comes down to three choices: engine, cab, and bed. Match them to the job, and the truck does the heavy lifting.
Go with the Duramax diesel for efficiency on long drives, or the 6.2L V8 when you want 420 hp on tap. For long items like lumber or a mattress, look for the 98.2-inch bed over the 69.9-inch bed. Each listing shows its own engine, cab, and bed details, so read them closely to land the exact truck your task calls for.

Everything is great. There were scratches in the car that the previous renter made on the car and jorge took photos of the damages and already had the photos saved so you don’t have to take photos again. the truck was very clean and fresh off the car wash. from pickup to the return, it was seamless. overall great experience and I will definitely come back and rent again!

My go to truck rental when I need a good, and reliable truck. Jorge and Carlos are some of the best host I’ve had on this app by far , I will always definite recommendation !.

Car was in excellent condition making the driving a pleasure. The owner was available at pick up and by phone for the duration of the rental. He was very understanding when I had to bring the car back a little late due to a freeway accident that backed up traffic. It was an overall extremely pleasant and easy experience.

A few quick checks before you book will help your Silverado 1500 trip go smoothly.
The Silverado 1500 is a full-size pickup, so expect a bigger footprint than most cars and SUVs. If your trip calls for a different kind of vehicle, other Chevrolet models might fit better.
For an SUV with room for the family, try a Chevrolet Tahoe rental or a Chevrolet Suburban rental. Want a sports car instead? A Chevrolet Corvette rental trades the bed for a lower, faster ride.
Spend a few minutes in a parking lot getting used to the Silverado 1500's size before you head out. Adjust the mirrors and try the cameras so reversing feels natural.
Mind the truck's length in tight lots and parking garages.
Secure every load in the bed before you drive.
Check the listing for engine and trim details.
Reserve early if you need the truck on a weekend.
The cost to rent a Silverado 1500 varies by year, trim, trip length, extras, and delivery. Local vehicle owners set their own prices, so you'll see a range across listings.
You'll get a 10% non-refundable discount when you book four or more days ahead. Local vehicle owners may also offer three-day, weekly, and monthly discounts. For trips of a month or more, explore long-term car rental options.
