Drive a Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most iconic off-roaders in the world, and in recent years, it’s had an electric glow-up dubbed the Wrangler 4xe. Wrangler rentals in Australia offer the chance to explore beaches, bushland, or winding coastal roads in a vehicle that combines adventure — ready performance with unmistakable style. Whether you’re heading to Byron or the Blue Mountains, it’s built for fun.

A Wrangler rental is the perfect way to test out Jeep’s unique mix of rugged capability and modern tech. With a removable roof, all-terrain tyres, and a high-clearance chassis, you’ll feel ready for anything. Plus, it’s a head-turner, even when parked. Find a Jeep Wrangler rental on Turo and see why this 4WD legend is still leading the pack.

Built for Aussie terrain

Few vehicles are as versatile as the Jeep Wrangler when it comes to tackling Australia’s diverse landscape. Whether you’re driving across sandy dunes, rainforest tracks, or winding coastal roads, the Wrangler adapts with 4x4 control and locking differentials.

Iconic open-air design

No other vehicle lets you get this close to the elements. With removable doors, a fold-down windshield, and the option for a soft or hard top, the Wrangler creates an open-air experience unlike anything else on the road. It's made for sunny weekends and salty-hair road trips.

Endless customisation

From off-road tyres to winches, snorkels, roof racks, and even fridges, the Wrangler has one of the most customisable platforms out there. Whether you’re chasing an off-the-grid camping setup or a beach cruiser with flair, it’s easy to tailor your rental to your adventure.

Stand out with a Wrangler

For a truly unforgettable experience, it’s hard to beat renting a Jeep Wrangler. Instantly recognisable and famously capable, a Wrangler rental offers more than just transport — it’s an adventure machine built for the bold. Whether you're cruising the coastline, exploring rugged outback tracks, or turning heads in the city, the Wrangler delivers rugged charisma in spades.

Removable roof & doors

The Wrangler doesn’t just promise adventure — it’s built for it. With fully removable doors and roof panels, you can switch between open-air exploration and enclosed comfort depending on the weather (or your mood). Few cars offer this level of customisation and raw connection to the road.

Wash-out interior

Planning to get a little dusty? Wrangler interiors are designed with adventure in mind. Many models feature removable carpet, one-way floor drain valves, and rugged surfaces that make clean-up easy after muddy trails, sandy coastlines, or a weekend of bush bashing.

Uconnect infotainment & Apple CarPlay

While it looks rugged, the Wrangler doesn’t skimp on tech. You’ll find a responsive Uconnect touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, and voice control features — keeping you connected, entertained, and navigating smoothly wherever you go.

Jeep Wrangler car hire driving tips

Never driven a Wrangler before? It’s not your average SUV. With a high ride height, boxy silhouette, and off-road-oriented suspension, it may feel a bit different at first — especially when turning or parking. Take it slow on your first few drives, and use your mirrors generously. Make sure you’re familiar with 4WD controls and tyre pressure basics (some hosts even leave tips in the glovebox). On the highway, the ride may feel a little firmer than your typical crossover — that’s part of its rugged charm.

How much does it cost to rent a Wrangler?

The cost of a Wrangler car rental can vary depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. For a cheap Wrangler rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.

What kind of trips is a Wrangler good for?

The Wrangler shines on road trips with a twist - think Byron Bay beach trails, Blue Mountains escapes, or Great Ocean Road detours. Its off-road capabilities, removable roof, and robust build make it a dream for nature lovers and weekend warriors. But it’s also great for city cruising if you want to turn heads or test out the iconic Jeep lifestyle before buying one yourself. Just note: the boot space in 2-door models is snug, so pack light or rent a 4-door if you’re hauling gear.
