Spacious dual-cab design

The dual-cab layout generally gives you the space of a Toyota SUV and the utility of a workhorse. There’s room to stretch out, enough for about five adults to ride in comfort without elbow wars. The rear seats fold up when you need extra storage. Whether you are travelling with friends or going on a road trip with the family, the Ranger's cabin is roomy and practical without feeling bulky.

Safety features

The Ford Ranger puts safety first, with great features to ensure your safety on the road. With advanced driver-assistance systems, like lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control, the Ford Ranger has you covered on every ride. These safety features make a Ranger rental the perfect choice for families, solo adventurers and road trippers.

Bold and rugged style

From the Ranger XL, XLS and XLT, to the Ranger Wildtrak and Ranger Raptor, you'll appreciate the truck's impressive design. When renting a 2x2 Ranger or Ranger 4x4 (full-time AWD), you are guaranteed a bold front grille, muscular body lines, LED lighting and a high stance. This ute stands out, whether rolling through the suburbs or charging down a country trail. With a Ford Ranger hire, you’re not just getting a work vehicle. Although it is a practical vehicle, the Ranger also brings a bit of street appeal that is sure to turn heads.

Get to know your Ford Ranger

If you haven’t driven a Ford Ranger before, here are a few tips that will give you a crash course on driving your rental.

Ford Ranger driving tips

- Most Ranger rentals are automatic: You can still use the manual shifting option for an old-school feel. If you aren’t confident with the manual, stay in auto, so you don’t risk stalling in traffic.

- Check the fuel type when getting a car rental: Most Ford Rangers are diesel, so ensure you fill up at the right pump.

- Check the payload limit: If you need to haul stuff, keep within the payload limits of your Ford Ranger rental. When transporting furniture and other gear, always check the weight to avoid damaging the tray.

How much does it cost to rent a Ford Ranger?

The cost of a Ford Ranger car rental can vary, depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. If you want to pay less money for a Ranger rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.
