MJ was a great host - communicative and helpful, the car was easy to find and collect. The car itself was great - includes extra gadgets to enable phone connection to the radio and a rear view camera on the mirror.
Fantastic. Easy, clean, economical, well maintained, host is lovely and helpful. A wonderful first experience with Turo!
Though a little old now, the Subaru Liberty was a pleasure to drive and very easy on fuel. The car was clean and ready to go when I picked it up. MJ was helpful and responsive, and even offered to drive me back home after drop-off. It's great to have a car rental in the inner south of Canberra!
Car was immaculately clean! Very easy pick up and great communication as always!

Loved driving this car around for a few days! Owners were super helping with teething issues with the lockbox. Car was clean and great to drive
Perfect car, clean, ran great, really luxurious, it’s the second time we have rented from noor and every time has been amazing!! Thankyou we will defiantly rent again

Great car! Easy pick up and drop off and so close to city center :) Thanks!

I rented MJ’s car for a weekend away and it was perfect—super comfy to drive, and in great condition. Pickup & drop off & communications were also super easy. 100% recommend!
Nice. We enjoyed a lot. Who else can say that they have rode a Lexus convertible. A car was a bit too small for me (near 2metres), with the roof down it was a bit too windy above 80km/h. But dont feel discouraged, the car is great and you will have a lot of fun. Driving wise - everything great
Pleasant to drive, spotlessly clean and as per previous trip fantastic communication from host.
from pickup to drop-off — was easy. Definitely recommend it and would rent again!
Great car, very fuel efficient. Clean and well kept. Very good communication too
Great, MJ went out of his way to meet us at a convenient location for us.
MJ was great and super accommodating! The car was clean and while being a bit dated in some ways it was super convenient and much easier than hiring a car.

Noor once again went above and beyond fir us thanks legend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😊
The car was really good very efficient and 4WD helps a lot to go snowy mountain

When hiring a convertible in Canberra, it's crucial to consider the city's varied climate. Summers can be quite hot, so if you're driving during this season, plan your trips for early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. Winters can be chilly, especially at night, so pack warm layers if you plan to keep the top down. Spring and autumn offer ideal conditions for convertible driving, with mild temperatures and lower chances of rain. Always check the forecast before setting out, as Canberra's weather can be changeable. Be prepared for sudden temperature drops, particularly if you're venturing into higher elevations around the city.
When driving a hired convertible in Canberra's urban areas, stay alert to your surroundings as the open-top design can make you more vulnerable. Be mindful of larger vehicles, especially on busy roads like Northbourne Avenue. Secure loose items inside the car to prevent them from flying out. In the Parliamentary Zone, watch for pedestrians and cyclists, particularly around popular attractions. When parking, choose well-lit areas and always lock your convertible, even if leaving it briefly. Canberra's roads are generally well-maintained, but be cautious of fallen leaves or debris, especially during autumn. Lastly, familiarise yourself with the convertible's top mechanism for quick closure in case of sudden weather changes.
When parking your hired convertible in Canberra's city centre, prioritise secure locations. Opt for covered parking structures when possible, such as those near the Canberra Centre or beneath government buildings. If street parking is necessary, choose well-lit areas with high foot traffic. Always engage the car's security system and ensure the convertible top is fully closed and latched. Remove all valuable items from sight, including GPS units and mobile phones. Consider using a steering wheel lock for added security. In popular areas like Civic or Braddon, be mindful of time limits and parking fees. Lastly, take note of your parking location, as Canberra's grid layout can sometimes be confusing for visitors.
To protect yourself from the sun while enjoying long drives in your hired convertible around the Australian Capital Territory, start by applying a high-SPF sunscreen to all exposed skin, including often-forgotten areas like the back of your neck and ears. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and UV-blocking sunglasses to shield your face and eyes. Consider wearing light, long-sleeved clothing for additional coverage. Keep a sun umbrella in the car for extra shade when parked. Stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water, and plan stops at shaded areas or indoor venues to give your skin a break from direct sunlight. Remember, the Australian sun can be intense, so reapply sunscreen regularly, especially on longer drives through the scenic ACT countryside.
When selecting a convertible for your Canberra trip, consider the season of your visit. A car with both heating and cooling options is ideal for Canberra's variable climate. Look for a model with good fuel efficiency, as you may want to explore beyond the city limits. Comfort is key for longer drives, so choose a convertible with supportive seats and ample legroom. If you plan to visit wineries or go shopping, ensure the boot space is sufficient when the top is down. For luxury car enthusiasts, brands like Audi or BMW offer premium convertible options that blend style with performance. Lastly, consider a model with intuitive controls for easy top operation, allowing you to quickly adapt to Canberra's changeable weather conditions.
Canberra offers unique nighttime experiences perfect for convertible drives. Cruise along the illuminated paths around Lake Burley Griffin, taking in the reflections of city lights on the water. Drive up to Mount Ainslie lookout for a stunning panoramic view of Canberra's twinkling lights. During autumn, experience the magic of the Enlighten Festival, where you can admire colourful projections on national attractions from your open-top car. For a celestial treat, venture to the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex, where the clear night sky offers excellent stargazing opportunities. Remember to bring warm layers for cooler evening temperatures, and always prioritise safety by adhering to speed limits and staying alert on less-lit rural roads surrounding the city.
