First time Turo user here. I was a bit apprehensive about renting a car this way but am certainly glad I did. Pick up and drop off at Newark airport was a cinch - no long walks to, or waiting in line at, a big name car rental counter. I walked out of the terminal, at the assigned level and door, and the driver pulled up a few minutes later, put my luggage in the trunk, handed me the keys, I got in and drove away. The car was in excellent condition. I drove it for 5 days, filled the tank on the way back to the airport, and returned the car to the front of the terminal door I picked it up at. A pick-up driver showed up just after I had removed my luggage from the car, I handed him the keys, he drove away and I walked right in to the United counter and checked my bags. Easy peasy and at a fraction of the price I would have paid at a big name rental. Would definitely rent a car from Bernardo again.
I have never, ever had such a great car rental experience! I rented through Turo this weekend, and the service from this team was truly outstanding. In the past, I’ve often had issues with rental companies being late, but that wasn’t the case at all this time. They were punctual, incredibly helpful, and provided clear instructions for a smooth and safe pickup and drop-off. They even showed me how to open the fuel door and explained how the car worked, which made me feel comfortable and confident from the start. The customer service was exceptional, and the whole experience was seamless from beginning to end. I’m genuinely impressed and would absolutely rent from them again. Highly recommend!
The car was fantastic. The service from the owner was fantastic, his communication is excellent and instructions are easy to understand and follow and when I screwed up anyway and forgot to fill up, I did not get hammered for the extra service, price was actual cost of gas plus $10. Hate to admit but that was not my first time and one of the big rental companies hit me for $80 for 4 gallons of gas. Big fan of Turo and their car owners. Great experience.

This was my first time using Turo and it was awesome. My host was Metuchen Drive and it was a great experience. Metuchen went above and beyond to make this as convenient as possible. Dropped the car at the hotel and picked it up at the airport. Metuchen really saved us being that Enterprise Rental Car dropped the ball. I highly recommend Metuchen and Turo. Next time we are in the area I will be reaching out again and won’t even bother with Enterprise. Best rental car experience ever.
