Smartly designed and strikingly sleek, the Prius blends style with purpose. Thoughtful engineering shapes every detail for better aerodynamics and a smooth drive through city streets. Its modern look, practical shape, and stylish innovation turn daily drives into something you’ll actually enjoy.
Advanced technology enhances every trip, from a multimedia touchscreen and panoramic view monitor to intuitive navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay. The Prius prioritizes user experience — digital displays and driver-assist systems provide clarity, convenience, and confidence behind the wheel.
With a low center of gravity and responsive suspension, the Prius offers agile handling and stability in every turn. While the standard Prius is FWD, newer trims offer AWD — either way, its compact size easily navigates narrow city streets and tight parking spots while still delivering comfort and smooth performance.
With its efficient hybrid engine, legendary reliability, and surprisingly spacious interior, the Toyota Prius remains a standout among Toyota car rentals on Turo — perfect for daily commutes, city driving, or weekend getaways.

Choose your ideal drive mode — EV Mode runs on battery power alone, ECO Mode maximizes efficiency, and Power Mode sharpens performance. The Prius saves fuel and time while giving the planet a break. It delivers both convenience and sustainability, so you can drive smarter and more efficiently.
Despite its compact size, the Prius offers plenty of room for luggage, groceries, or gear. Split-folding rear seats and handy storage compartments make every journey more practical. Its thoughtfully designed interior maximizes cargo space while accommodating comfortable seating for up to five passengers.
By pairing its electric motor with a gasoline engine, the hybrid Prius optimizes its performance. This combination delivers quiet, smooth acceleration. Its advanced battery works behind the scenes to boost fuel economy and efficiency, giving drivers a car that’s powerful, practical, and reliable for long journeys.

The whole service was truly great. Car was nice and clean and everything we needed for our trip. We felt very safe and comfortable driving it. Thank you so much again.

I had a great experience renting this car. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. The car was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication was excellent, and pickup and drop-off were smooth and convenient. I would definitely rent from this host again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free rental experience. Thank you for making everything so easy!

Fantastic experience— first time with Turo. I would definitely rent from Sean again. Pick up was easy, he was friendly and helpful, and the car was clean and drove well. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Sean was really nice, the car was perfect ! I recommend for sure and will rent his car again when I come back to Los Angeles :)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience from start to finish. The host had truly excellent customer service — very professional, friendly, and always immediately responsive, even late at night. Communication was seamless the entire trip. What really stood out was after I dropped the car off — my hands were full and I mentioned I needed to go to Target to make some returns, and without hesitation he offered to give me a ride. Totally unexpected and genuinely kind. Above and beyond in every way. Would absolutely rent from him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free experience.
The quality of the good was fantastic. Pick up and drop off were very comfortable
the car was great. clean and ready. no issues whatsoever. -i do think that the mileage included should be 300/day and not 200. other than that, I would rent again.

Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and professional truly went above and beyond to make everything smooth and easy. Communication was clear, pickup and drop off were seamless, and every detail was handled with care. Fantastic in every way. Immaculately clean, mechanically flawless, and a dream to drive. It looked and felt like it just rolled out of the showroom. Everything worked perfectly, and it exceeded all expectations. This was by far the best Turo experience I’ve had both the host and the car deserve more than 5 stars. I would rent again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and a top notch experience. Thank you again!

Sean is the best, rented his Prius multiple times for work and never had a problem. 11/10 experience

Loved this car and the host was very professional and I would love to rent from him again

If you’re renting a Toyota Prius for the first time, get to know your vehicle before hitting the road — you may need to adjust some driving habits. Understanding your Prius means taking full advantage of its hybrid system, smart tech, and driver-assist systems. In addition, remember vehicle features are subject to yearly changes, so take note of your rental's specific trim to fully know its capabilities.
Choose your drive mode before you set off. Use ECO Mode for efficient cruising, EV Mode for battery-only stretches, and Power Mode when you want sharper response.
Adjust the driver-assist settings to your liking. Features vary by year and trim, so take a minute to set them up before you pull away.
Fold the split rear seats for bigger loads. You’ll free up extra room for luggage, groceries, or gear.
Return the Prius with the same fuel level. You’re responsible for bringing it back with as much fuel as it had at pickup — snap a photo of the gauge at the start and end of your trip.
The cost of a Prius car rental depends on the model year, trip length, Extras, and delivery. To lower your price, book four or more days ahead — every listing offers a 10% discount on non-refundable trips booked that far out. Many listings also offer trip-length discounts for three days, a week, or longer. Staying a month or more? Long-term car rental on Turo covers trips of 30 days or longer, and in most locations, Turo doesn’t add a trip fee to those bookings.

In the UK, you must be 21 years old or older and have held a UK or EU license for at least one year, or another driver’s license for at least two years. In France you must be 18 years old or older and have held a driver’s license for at least two years, longer for certain makes and models of vehicles.

To rent a Prius, you’ll need a valid license (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allows full driving privileges; Turo accepts driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. Licenses that Turo doesn’t accept in the US include any that have expired, have been altered, are conditional, probational, provisional, or restricted. Learner’s permit/instruction permits are not accepted.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a Prius on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan. When booking a Prius in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier (eligibility requirements apply), Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of protection that’s right for you. On each trip, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company.*
In New York state, you’ll also choose between Premier (if available), Standard, or Minimum. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance of $1,250,000.* Protection plans for New York trips also include access to roadside assistance, priority phone support, and 24/7 customer assistance.

Some Prius listings offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you’ll need to check each listing individually. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find Prius rentals offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Yes, multiple guests can drive the Prius you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the Prius) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; local vehicle owners can’t do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the Prius you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. In the US, liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
For questions or information about the third party liability insurance for trips in the US, consumers in Maryland and the licensed states listed here may contact Turo Insurance Agency at (415) 508-0283 or claims@turo.agency. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site. When a trip is booked in the state of Washington, physical damage to the host’s vehicle is covered by insurance purchased by Turo, but the Turo insurance does not change the contractual responsibilities of hosts or guests with respect to physical damage to a host’s vehicle.
