The car worked well and the host was attentive and organized. I just wish I had realized prior that the car was not at the airport, but you are sent an Uber to and from the airport. The host pays for this, but it does add time onto getting to and from where you are going. Probably not a big deal for many people but might have changed my selection of companies.

BMW M3 2014

We rented the M3 for two days for a trip up to the Bathurst circuit. The booking process was slick and friendly with a combination of automated and personal messages. Ben personally handed over the car, set up my iPhone and explained the key driving controls. The car was clean and well maintained. Ben kept in touch during our trip and answered our questions on tolls and suspension settings quickly. Ben was not available to receive the car back but the return process was clearly explained. I would recommend Ben.

Toyota CAMRY 2023

I’ve rented many times off of Sixt and Enterprise etc so was quite skeptical of the competitive price off an independent rental car company. It turned out that not only was the Toyota Camry a good deal but also an extremely smooth process from start to finish, other than the slightly longer process of taking photos of the car upon pick up and drop off Alexander and team were far smoother, and communication was much more instant than with a larger commercial company. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and plan to do so in the future, thank you so much!

Always observe speed limits, which are typically in kilometres per hour. Stay alert for pedestrians and cyclists, especially in residential areas. If using a GPS, set your destination before starting your journey to avoid distractions. It's also wise to plan your route in advance and allow extra time for unexpected delays. Rainy periods can occur year-round, so check that your windscreen wipers are in good condition. It's wise to keep a light jacket or umbrella in the car for unexpected weather changes. City driving, particularly in Sydney, involves navigating denser traffic, complex intersections, and more pedestrian and cyclist activity. In urban areas, you'll encounter more traffic lights, one-way streets, and parking restrictions. Rural drives often require more self-reliance, as services may be spread out. When transitioning between these environments, adjust your driving style accordingly. Always carry a physical map or ensure your GPS is updated for both urban and rural areas. Remember, speed limits and road rules may vary between city and country settings, so stay informed and adaptable.

What essentials should guests consider for long-distance driving from Turrella to other parts of NSW?

Pack a basic first-aid kit and plenty of water for hydration. Snacks and refreshments are useful for long stretches between towns. A physical map or updated GPS is essential, as mobile coverage can be patchy in remote areas. Consider downloading offline maps for areas with poor reception. Sunglasses and sunscreen are important for Australia's strong sun. For comfort, bring pillows and blankets for passengers on longer journeys. It's also wise to inform someone of your travel plans, especially for remote destinations. Remember to take regular breaks to avoid fatigue, and enjoy the diverse landscapes NSW has to offer during your road trip.
