Looking forward to have a vacation trip again with your service guys! Thanks!
Absolutely Flawless Experience — Will Never Go Back to a Regular Rental Agency! From the moment I booked online to the second I returned the keys, everything was seamless. The booking process took less than five minutes, and I received a confirmation text within the hour to go over all the details — that personal touch made a huge difference right from the start. Highly, highly recommended! 🙌🚗

Very comfortable prestige car to drive, easy pick up and drop off with lockbox on street parking near transport, great communication. Definitely recommend!
Sry for the delay, it was my first car rent in Australia, Super rental thanks you for ur car
I’ve rented many times off of Sixt and Enterprise etc so was quite skeptical of the competitive price off an independent rental car company. It turned out that not only was the Toyota Camry a good deal but also an extremely smooth process from start to finish, other than the slightly longer process of taking photos of the car upon pick up and drop off Alexander and team were far smoother, and communication was much more instant than with a larger commercial company. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and plan to do so in the future, thank you so much!
Pick up was easy, car was very tidy, car was well maintained. Best car rental so far 🫡

The best little ride! Suichu was an incredible host - quick to respond with clear pick up and drop off instructions, which made collection and drop off a breeze for a first time TURO user. The car itself was in pristine condition and well maintained, perfect for a weekend trip to the Central Coast. I’m looking forward to my next trip with the little Mini
Edward has been so so kind and nice, helpful all along from the beginning to the end of this trip. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to rent a car. He gave us all the valuable insights about traveling as well. He even offered a lift going back to the city(maybe it's because it was too late) anyway, he was the best guy on Turo.

Really enjoyed my first car rental experience . The car was in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly. The host was friendly, responsive, and gave clear instructions, which made the whole process stress-free. Pickup and return were quick and convenient. Highly recommend!

Awesome car, Millie was great and delivered the car to my house. Would definitely rent again!!
Great communication from Ben and clean car on pickup. Super easy to deal with, would highly recommend to anyone.
The car was clean, and perfect for the weekend trip we had planned. Peter was clear and communicative when it came to the pick up/ drop off of the car. And great communication throughout the weekend to ensure a smooth trip. Would definitely recommend and use Peter’s car again.

Great experience overall. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, and both pickup and drop-off were seamless. The car itself was solid and comfortable to drive, with plenty of boot space, which was a real bonus for a trip. Would highly recommend!
The car quality was great. The system is thorough to check in and out. They check in during your trip to make sure everything is okay. The car was clean. It was a super smooth experience aiding in our Australian adventures! I would certainly recommend!!
We had a great experience with this rental. The car was amazing and in good condition for such an affordable price while Brandon was also very nice and helpful.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The car was in excellent condition, clean and a pleasure to drive. The host was super attentive, always responsive and ready to help with any questions or issues that came up during the trip. Pickup and drop-off were both seamless. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

When booking a car hire in Newtown, consider reserving early on Turo for the best selection. Choose a vehicle that suits your plans, whether it's a compact car for city driving or a larger vehicle for coastal trips. Look for extras like GPS navigation for easy exploration of Sydney's suburbs. Consider a vehicle with a backup camera for easier parking in Newtown's narrow streets. Remember to familiarise yourself with local parking regulations, as some areas have time limits or require permits. Opting for a fuel-efficient model can help manage costs, especially if you plan to explore beyond the inner west.

Many hosts on Turo provide flexible pickup options near popular spots like King Street, making it easy for guests to start their Newtown adventure. Some hosts even offer delivery to nearby train stations, such as Newtown Station, enhancing convenience for those arriving by public transport. These strategic pickup points allow guests to quickly access Newtown's eclectic mix of cafes, boutiques, and street art. By choosing a car hire from a host on Turo in Newtown, guests gain the freedom to explore not only the local area but also venture further into the surrounding regions of New South Wales, all while enjoying the diverse selection of vehicles available through the Turo marketplace.
Newtown serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the scenic wonders of New South Wales. Consider taking a drive along the Grand Pacific Drive, which offers breathtaking coastal views and passes through charming seaside towns. Another option is the Blue Mountains route, where you can marvel at stunning vistas and lush eucalyptus forests. For a taste of rural NSW, head towards the Southern Highlands, known for its picturesque countryside and quaint villages. These routes provide diverse landscapes and experiences, making them perfect for those with a hired car to explore at their own pace. Remember to plan your journey carefully and take regular breaks to fully appreciate the beauty of the region.
Navigating parking in bustling Newtown can be a bit tricky, but there are several options available. Look for council-operated car parks, which often offer reasonable rates and are conveniently located near popular areas. On-street parking is available, but be sure to check signage carefully for time limits and restrictions. Some shopping centres in Newtown provide parking facilities, which can be handy if you're planning to explore the area on foot. Consider using parking apps that show real-time availability and allow you to pay electronically. If you're staying for an extended period, investigate local residential parking permits. Remember to always lock your vehicle and avoid leaving valuables in sight when parking in Newtown or any urban area.
When choosing a car for exploring Newtown and the surrounding NSW regions, consider versatility and comfort. A compact or mid-size car is ideal for navigating Newtown's urban streets and finding parking spaces. However, if you plan to venture into rural areas or the Blue Mountains, a small SUV might be more suitable, offering better ground clearance and stability on varied terrains. For longer trips along the coast or into the countryside, a comfortable sedan could be a great choice, providing a smooth ride and good fuel efficiency. If you're travelling with family or a group, a larger vehicle like a van might be necessary to accommodate everyone comfortably. Ultimately, the best car choice depends on your specific itinerary and needs.
Newtown and its surrounding areas offer numerous conveniently located petrol stations for refueling your vehicle. You'll find several options along King Street, the main thoroughfare of Newtown, as well as on nearby major roads like Princes Highway and Enmore Road. Many of these stations are open 24/7, providing flexibility for early morning departures or late-night returns. Some stations also offer convenience stores for quick snacks or essentials. It's a good idea to familiarise yourself with the locations of a few petrol stations near your accommodation or along your planned routes. Remember to check your fuel gauge regularly, especially before embarking on longer trips outside of Newtown, to ensure you don't run low in less populated areas.
Navigating Newtown's busy streets during peak hours requires patience and planning. Try to avoid the main arteries like King Street and Enmore Road during morning and evening rush hours if possible. Instead, consider using parallel side streets for smoother travel. Familiarise yourself with Newtown's one-way street system to avoid unnecessary detours. If you're not in a hurry, consider parking your hired car and exploring on foot or by public transport during peak times. Keep an eye out for clearways and bus lanes, which have specific operational hours. It's also wise to check for any ongoing roadworks or events that might affect traffic. Remember, Newtown is a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly area, so sometimes it's more enjoyable to park your car and soak in the local atmosphere on foot.
While Newtown itself is an urban area, there are several noteworthy spots nearby perfect for taking breaks during long drives. Sydney Park, located just a short drive from Newtown, offers expansive green spaces, walking trails, and picnic areas, ideal for stretching your legs and enjoying some fresh air. If you're heading towards the coast, stop at Coogee Beach or Bondi Beach for stunning ocean views and a chance to relax by the water. For a more tranquil break, consider visiting the Royal Botanic Garden, where you can wander through beautiful landscapes and enjoy harbour views. These spots not only provide a pleasant respite from driving but also offer a glimpse into the diverse natural beauty surrounding Newtown and greater Sydney.
Preparing your vehicle for Newtown's weather conditions is essential for a safe and enjoyable trip. In summer, ensure your car's air conditioning is working efficiently to combat the heat. During the rainy season, check that your windscreen wipers are in good condition and your tyres have adequate tread for wet roads. While snow is rare in Newtown, winter can bring cooler temperatures, so make sure your car's heating system is functioning properly. It's always a good idea to keep a small umbrella in the car for unexpected showers. Before setting out, check the local weather forecast and plan accordingly. Remember, weather can change quickly in New South Wales, so being prepared for various conditions will help ensure a smooth journey around Newtown and beyond.
Driving in Newtown's urban streets differs significantly from rural New South Wales roads. In Newtown, expect narrow lanes, frequent traffic lights, and a higher volume of pedestrians and cyclists. Pay extra attention to clearways and parking restrictions, which can change depending on the time of day. Rural NSW roads, on the other hand, often feature longer stretches without traffic lights, wider lanes, and fewer pedestrians. However, they may have wildlife crossing unexpectedly, especially at dawn and dusk. Speed limits tend to be higher on rural roads, but always adhere to posted signs. In Newtown, you'll need to be more aware of public transport and delivery vehicles, while on rural roads, be prepared for occasional unsealed sections and limited mobile phone coverage. Always carry water and snacks for longer rural drives.
