Great car and seamless pick up. Affordable and way easier than dealing with traditional rental companies. Will happily rent from Barkha’s car rental again. Thank you :)
Friendly interactions with good positive communications, also very accomodating with car seat option and dropping the vehicle off at the airport for a very reasonable price. Car body was in good condition few minor scratches. Vehicle had a full tank was washed and recently detailed. One thing that I thought was a con was; the touch screen when using Apple car play didn’t work in some places, but in saying that we used the dial and it that worked just fine. I highly recommend using cars 4 rent, I will be using them again next trip to Brisbane. Thanks nick and cars 4 rent.
Bharka was a wonderful communicator, car was easy to pick up and drop off and it was clean and perfect for my needs on this trip. Great price and value, much appreciated and would absolutely book again. Thanks all!
Fabian was amazing host. He was always responsive for anything needed. Would definitely rent car from him again if I am in Brisbane. Also, his price was more economical with cars taken good care. This was my second car rental from him.
It’s one of my best first experiences in renting a car. Jeff was very helpful with picking up the car as well as dropping off. Fully recommend the car was amazing to drive . Would definitely rent it again 👍
Great rental experience! The car was clean, well maintained, and comfortable to drive. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Would definitely rent from them again!
Was one of the smoothest rental companies iv used. Assistance communication an drop off an pick up was made super easy car was awesome to drive an for what it is was very cheap to run definitely use there services again
Host replied in timely matter, Apple carplay working. The car smelled a little off when we first entered but after the AC was on and the windows rolled down, the smell was nearly gone. Would suggest an air freshener! Turo cars are never the cleanest or best shape but this was good enough. Experience was still good so 5 stars. Wouldnt rate lower like most people on the app with unrealistic expectations!
Hands down the best rental experience ever, Loved the car Raj was great and everything was so smooth
Great experience overall. Pickup and drop off were both on time and easy. The car was clean, neat and well presented, and everything went smoothly. Host was friendly and super easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend for a fun trip
Barkha was a superb host. We could not have asked for more. She made the pickup and drop off of the car super smooth, and was very quick to respond to any questions we had through the one month that we had the car. The car itself was excellent. It was very new, clean, and had great fuel economy. It was perfect for our trip. I highly recommend Barkha’s Car Rentals to anyone thinking of using Turo.
Car was clean and ready, handles well and very fuel efficient. Sanjeev was quick to respond! Definitely would rent from him again.

Although the car was older, When I ran into issues, Jack and Vie were very responsive and were able to provide me with another vehicle to complete my trip.

Great car for the weekend. Easy to collect and very fuel efficient Would rent again. Thanks.
Simon was very communicative on messages and helpful with pick up and drop off instructions. The car was perfect for activities we had planned with no issues - would rent again if we stayed in the area again!

Fantastic hosts to deal with! The AMG Merc was the best choice for a weekend away catching up with family and friends, now to convince my wife to get one with me!

Barkha is super arranging. Pick up is fast. The car is very clean and perfect for our trip around Brisbane.

For coastal beauty, head towards the Sunshine Coast, where you can enjoy picturesque beaches and charming seaside towns. Many shopping centres in the area provide free parking for customers. For longer stays, consider using park-and-ride facilities near train stations, which offer convenient access to public transport. When exploring Brisbane's CBD, parking stations are available, but it's wise to compare rates as they can vary. Planning your parking in advance can save time and ensure a stress-free experience while exploring Nundah and its environs.
For exploring Nundah and its neighbouring suburbs, a compact or mid-size car is often ideal. These vehicles are well-suited to navigating urban streets and finding parking in busier areas. If you're planning trips to the nearby coast or hinterland, consider a small SUV for added comfort and versatility. For families or groups, a larger vehicle might be more appropriate to ensure everyone travels comfortably. Electric vehicles are gaining popularity in Queensland, with charging stations becoming more widespread, making them a viable eco-friendly option. Whatever your choice, ensure the car is equipped with air conditioning for Brisbane's warm climate. Always keep your tank at least a quarter full to avoid any unexpected situations during your travels around Queensland.
When driving in unfamiliar areas of Nundah, it's crucial to stay alert and follow local traffic rules. Familiarise yourself with Australian road signs and keep left while driving. Use GPS navigation to help you navigate, but always pay attention to your surroundings. Be cautious at roundabouts, which are common in the area. Watch for pedestrians and cyclists, especially in residential zones and near schools. If you're unsure about a route, it's better to pull over safely and check your directions rather than make sudden turns. Keep an eye out for speed limit changes, particularly when transitioning between different types of roads. Stay focused on the road and avoid distractions. By following these practices, you'll ensure a safer driving experience while exploring Nundah and its surrounding areas.
When hiring a car in Nundah, it's important to be prepared for Queensland's varied weather conditions. Brisbane's subtropical climate can bring sudden changes, so check the forecast before your trip. During summer, ensure your car's air conditioning is working efficiently to combat the heat. In the wet season, which typically occurs from November to March, be prepared for heavy rainfall. Check that your windscreen wipers are in good condition and familiarise yourself with the car's headlights and defrosting systems. While snow is not a concern in Nundah, strong sun glare can be an issue year-round, so consider having sunglasses handy. Always adjust your driving to suit the weather conditions, reducing speed during heavy rain and increasing following distances. Being prepared for various weather scenarios will enhance your safety and enjoyment while exploring Nundah and its surroundings.
Navigating Nundah's streets differs significantly from driving in rural Queensland. In Nundah, you'll encounter more traffic lights, roundabouts, and pedestrian crossings, requiring constant alertness. Speed limits are generally lower, and parking can be more challenging. Rural Queensland, on the other hand, features longer stretches of open road with higher speed limits. You'll need to be prepared for wildlife crossings, especially at dawn and dusk. In rural areas, fuel stations are less frequent, so planning your refuelling stops is crucial. Road conditions can vary more in the countryside, with unsealed roads being common in some regions. When driving in rural Queensland, it's important to take regular breaks to combat fatigue on long journeys. Always carry extra water and snacks when venturing into more remote areas, and be prepared for limited mobile phone coverage.
When embarking on long-distance drives from Nundah to other parts of Queensland, proper preparation is key. Ensure your hired car is in good condition, checking tyre pressure, oil levels, and coolant before departure. Pack plenty of water and non-perishable snacks for the journey. A physical map can be a useful backup to GPS navigation, especially in areas with poor mobile reception. Sun protection is crucial in Queensland's climate, so bring sunscreen and sunglasses. For comfort during long drives, consider bringing pillows and blankets. It's also wise to plan your route in advance, identifying rest stops and fuel stations along the way. Remember to take regular breaks to avoid fatigue, ideally stopping every two hours or so. By considering these essentials, you'll be well-prepared for an enjoyable and safe long-distance drive through Queensland's diverse landscapes.
