Carma definitely restored my faith in Tullamarine car rental companies. Hannah was super friendly. Pick and drop off was a breeze. Car got 700kms on one tank. No complaints at all. Thanks team!

Mr. John upgraded my rental car free of charge, which let me experience the charm of a GT for the first time. This Mustang made my Great Ocean Road trip incredibly enjoyable. Meanwhile, Mr. John thoughtfully prepared an umbrella and water in the car. I will definitely rent a car from him again when I come to Melbourne next time.

Great and awesome. Had a best trip with the car. Will return to rent it again. Thanks guys

Absolutely, Amazing Car this wasn’t my first time hiring with carma and definitely not last either. Like all their other cars this supra was hectic. Easy pickup and easy drop off.

Fantastic host! Super polite and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Great communication, pick up and drop off process was a breeze. Cars are clean and well presented. This is my second hire with this host and both cars have had a high quality phone mount already in the vehicle, (inclusive and not charged as an extra) a non-negotiable for me to use gps safely while driving. Happy to hire with this host again!

I recently rented a Kia Picanto and had a fantastic experience. The car was super economical on fuel, really easy to drive, and perfect for getting around the city. The rental process was smooth, with excellent customer service. Jay was professional, friendly, and offered a great price. I’ll definitely be renting again from him in the future. Highly recommended!
Car was great. Well looked after. Will definitely rent again in the future

Highly recommend John’s M3. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very very special driving experience, brutal performance, luxurious interior and BMW showmanship. Has everything for a reasonable price Car was in great condition, running Kumhos on the front and cheaper Chinese tires on the back with sufficient tread and grip to have safe fun. John and his team again made the whole process really smooth and convenient. Really handy to have plenty of unlimited street parking nearby to leave your car and swap Thanks again

Car was amazing to drive. Host was super super friendly!! I just have to return the car early but the car was amazing to drive !!! Will definitely book again in future!!! 1000 stars
Car battery broke down. But fortunately roadside assistance and repair was covered by carma/turo. Carma was helpful throughout the process.
Great value for a great car. 10 min delay in completing the pickup process, but it happens. Overall huge bang for buck. Car is good fun to drive through the twisting roads of the Yarra valley. The Italians were bent on making an absurdly fun car and they succeeded.

Car was great only thing I wasn't use to is not having rear view camera, the car has it but didn't work. Head lights weren't very bright but overall great car thank you

Great car to drive. Easy pick up and drop off location close to Airport a bonus. Great communication- seamless experience. Thank you Ami.

The car was great, drove well, easy to park and loved the interior and felt safe driving it. Thank you 😊

Very new and clean car. Premium model with bells and whistles. Pleasant to drive with amazing fuel efficiency. Thank you Will.

Thanks David for a good quality car, excellent customer service & assistance when needed. Would happily use your company again, and would recommend to family and friends.
Car was great. Host was a amazing even though I was late on return very understanding and polite

The nearby Macedon Ranges present winding roads through lush forests and charming villages, ideal for those seeking natural beauty. For coastal views, consider the Great Ocean Road, accessible within a few hours' drive. The Yarra Valley wine region offers picturesque landscapes dotted with vineyards and rolling hills. When planning your journey, ensure your vehicle is suitable for the terrain. A small car might suffice for city driving, but an SUV could provide more comfort for longer trips. Remember to familiarise yourself with local road rules and take regular breaks to fully appreciate the stunning Victorian countryside.
Navigating peak hour traffic in Campbellfield and surrounding areas requires some strategic planning. Utilise real-time traffic apps to stay informed about congestion and alternate routes. Consider adjusting your travel times to avoid the busiest periods, typically early mornings and late afternoons on weekdays. When possible, use main arterial roads like the Hume Highway or Western Ring Road, which often move more efficiently than local streets during peak times. If venturing into Melbourne, be aware of toll roads and clearways. Opting for a smaller, more manoeuvrable vehicle can be advantageous in heavy traffic. Remember to allow extra time for your journey and stay patient – Australian drivers generally follow road rules courteously, which helps traffic flow smoothly even during busy periods.
For exploring Campbellfield and the Victorian countryside, versatile vehicles are ideal. An SUV offers comfort for long drives and capability for varied terrain, perfect for venturing into the nearby Macedon Ranges or Dandenong Mountains. For city driving and fuel efficiency, a small to medium-sized car works well, especially when navigating Melbourne's bustling streets. If you're planning coastal trips, a vehicle with good fuel economy is beneficial for longer journeys. For groups or families, a larger vehicle or minivan provides ample space for passengers and luggage. Consider your specific itinerary when choosing – a compact car suits urban exploration, while a more robust vehicle is better for rural adventures. Regardless of your choice, ensure it's equipped for Australian driving conditions and your comfort on Victorian roads.
Campbellfield and its surrounding areas are well-equipped with reliable petrol stations to keep your vehicle fuelled. Major service stations are conveniently located along main roads such as Sydney Road and the Hume Highway. These stations often offer a range of fuel types suitable for various vehicles, from small cars to larger SUVs. Many are open 24/7, ensuring you can refuel at any time. It's advisable to keep your tank at least half full, especially when planning longer trips into the Victorian countryside. Some stations also provide convenience stores for snacks and basic supplies. Remember to familiarise yourself with your vehicle's fuel type before refuelling. For those driving electric vehicles, charging stations are becoming increasingly available in the greater Melbourne area, though they may be less common in Campbellfield itself.
When driving in unfamiliar areas around Campbellfield, prioritise safety by familiarising yourself with local road rules and signage. Always adhere to speed limits, which can vary between urban and rural areas. Be particularly cautious on country roads, where wildlife may unexpectedly cross your path. When exploring Victoria's diverse landscapes, from bustling city streets to winding mountain roads, adjust your driving style accordingly. Use your vehicle's navigation system or a reliable map app to plan your route in advance. Stay alert for changing weather conditions, especially if venturing into more remote areas. If you're not accustomed to driving on the left side of the road, take extra care, particularly at intersections and roundabouts. Remember to take regular breaks on longer journeys to avoid fatigue and fully enjoy the scenic beauty of the Victorian countryside.
Preparing for Victoria's diverse weather conditions is crucial for safe and enjoyable driving. In summer, ensure your vehicle's air conditioning is functioning well to combat the heat, especially in small cars that can warm up quickly. For winter drives, particularly in higher elevations, be prepared for cooler temperatures and possible fog or frost. Check that your vehicle has properly inflated tyres and functioning windscreen wipers. When venturing into rural areas, pack appropriate clothing layers as temperatures can fluctuate. During wet seasons, drive cautiously on potentially slippery roads, especially in larger vehicles like SUVs. Always check weather forecasts before long drives and plan your route accordingly. Remember, Victorian weather can be unpredictable, so flexibility in your travel plans is key to ensuring a safe and comfortable journey, regardless of the type of hired vehicle you choose.
Campbellfield and its nearby suburbs offer various parking options suitable for hired vehicles. In commercial areas, you'll find a mix of on-street parking and dedicated car parks. Many shopping centres provide free parking, often with time limits. When venturing into residential areas, be mindful of permit zones and always check signage for restrictions. For longer stays, some accommodation options may offer secure parking facilities. If exploring Melbourne's CBD, consider using park-and-ride facilities near train stations to avoid city congestion. Remember that parking rules can vary between suburbs, so always double-check local regulations. For larger vehicles like SUVs, look for spaces that accommodate your vehicle size comfortably. Utilising parking apps can help you find available spots and sometimes offer contactless payment options, making your parking experience in the Campbellfield area more convenient and stress-free.
When embarking on long-distance drives from Campbellfield through regional Victoria, packing essentials is key to a smooth journey. Start with a reliable map or ensure your vehicle has an up-to-date GPS system. Pack plenty of water and non-perishable snacks, as some rural areas may have limited service stations. Bring a first-aid kit for any minor emergencies. Depending on your vehicle type, consider packing appropriate gear – sunshades for small cars or extra blankets for larger vehicles in cooler months. A portable phone charger is invaluable for staying connected in remote areas. If your itinerary includes national parks or beaches, pack suitable footwear and sun protection. Don't forget a camera to capture Victoria's stunning landscapes. Lastly, always carry your driver's licence and vehicle documentation. These essentials will help ensure a comfortable and prepared journey through Victoria's diverse regions.
