I drive a Ford Transit for work, so i was excited to see one available for my trip in portland. We rode around at max capacity (9 passengers driver) for most of the trip and everyone felt pretty comfortable with the amount of space in the back. There was plenty of space for luggage in the back as well.
The truck was very clean when i picked it up and no damage was visible anywhere. The vehicle ran very smoothly, even in the mountains with lots of inclines and declines. All safety features were functional and the backup camera was clear. The headlights and high beams were very clear and kept us safe driving through the mountains at night. The tablet up front that connects to carplay was plenty large and allowed a lot of backseat drivers to comment on my navigation skills, very fun. I give it a 10/10 for reliability and safety,
It’s a larger vehicle, so expect it to stick out a bit when parking in regular sized spots. I wasn’t able to park it in my Airbnb’s garage due to the size, but i had plenty of room in most other cases. The sliding side door also helped make up for the van’s size by not contributing to how tight it was to park. I’d rate it 8/10 for parking, but someone experienced with parking a van that size shouldn’t have a problem with it.
Overall, i think this was the best vehicle i could have gotten for my trip. It was familiar to me, super safe, and ran perfectly the entire time.
