The Ford Transit checked all the boxes for our road trip from South Georgia to Little Rock, Arkansas! First of all, it’s a great-looking vehicle, and we received tons of compliments at every stop — and trust me, with nine passengers, most of us over a certain age… there were plenty of stops!
The vehicle was incredibly spacious. We had a few seats removed to give everyone extra room during the 13-hour drive, and the high ceiling allowed us to stand up and stretch comfortably. There was more than enough room for all of our luggage, including a rollator chair and cooler.
Everything worked perfectly. The air conditioning, sound system, and outlets were all excellent. There were enough charging ports to accommodate phones, laptops, personal fans, and more, which made the long trip much more comfortable.
The only reason I didn’t give a full five-star rating is because the vehicle likely needed a wheel alignment and balancing. Any speed over 60 mph caused noticeable shaking, which made the drive a bit longer than expected.
