Rory was the best host. Easy and fast communication. Answered all questions and sent additional photos of the van. Drop off and pick up for a reasonable fee.

The van was in Excellent mechanical condition. The AC was ice cold sitting in traffic and driving down the highway. Easy van to maneuver.

Perfect trip for a family/friend trip of 9 with tons of storage.

Would definitely boob with Rory again for this same van.

The host is absolutely amazing - very responsive, surprisingly accommodating to annoying lessors that ask a bunch of questions, change times, and are extremely late (that would be me, who only deserves 1 star) I was very torn on how to rate this review though because while the host was phenomenal, the vehicle... Well that's the main reason most of you are here right?

Again, I reiterate, this is an exceptional host, but if you also need an exceptional van, you may want to see what else this host has to lease. If you just want the van to get you there and back safely, without caring what the inside looks like - this van will be great for you. If you need the van to look as good on the inside as it does I the outside - not for you. I believe every seat had a rip, hole and/or stain on it. That said - it was clean and had no smell, so if you have kids or adults that often spill stuff and are messy, this would work great.

Drive: Gas mileage was great! I filled up when I left the lot, drove home way back up to Vistancia (with traffic took me over 2 hours), drove it back and forth to my event, left it running to cool down or keep cool several times, and still returned with 2/3 tank! Comfort was great, smooth driving (not bouncy and not much road noise) but it would catch the faintest blow of wind and start to feel squirrly, so remember - BOTH hands on the wheel at all times.

Now, the A/C.... I actually got off the highway and messaged them I was on my way back to return it. It took me nearly a hour to get 12 miles away (stopped for gas + road snack, then pretty much just sat in traffic for the next 10 miles. During that time, we got so hot, I began feeling like I needed to pull over and go inside somewhere with air conditioning. In the vans' defense, we were in traffic and it is summertime in Phoenix so the temp was triple digits.


I sent the message, told my map to take me back, and began driving. Almost immediately the host replied. They let me know they just had the AC repaired and had driven it to test it but if I was unhappy then I could absolutely bring it back. 🌞 {See, exceptional host!} When I got back on the highway going the opposite direction, there was light traffic, and I was able to get up to speed. It was like someone flipped the AC switch and it finally started to cool down in the vehicle. I again got off the highway, messaged the host, and let them know I am not returning it, the AC isn't blasting cold, but it definitely cooled down enough that it was worth keeping it than trying to find another giant van last minute on a Friday afternoon. I found if you can stay above 45/50 mph, the air works pretty decently. If you are stopped, in traffic, etc, it blows air that is cooler than outside, and we will just leave it at that. That would have gotten them 2 or 3 star rating, but with how great the host was, the fact that the vehicle was clean and didnt have any weird smell like a lot of rentals, they earned back 2 stars.
