The vehicle got us where we needed to go, but there were several issues that are worth knowing about before renting.
When we received the pickup instructions, we were told the van was parked in a specific location at the airport. When we got there, it wasn’t there. I called the owner, and he explained that he hadn’t parked it himself and that one of his guys had. His direction was basically to “look for the Sprinter van.” We eventually found it, but after traveling and arriving at the airport, it made the pickup process more frustrating than it needed to be.
Also, be aware that if you’re picking the van up from the airport, you are responsible for paying the parking fee to get it out of the lot. That’s an additional expense on top of the rental. I haven’t run into this with lady rentals. If your flight arrives late or the vehicle has been sitting there for a while, the parking fee could be higher, so I would factor that into the total cost of renting.
Once we found the van, one of the trim pieces by the passenger entry was literally hanging off. We weren’t expecting a perfect vehicle, but it could definitely use some attention. There were also quite a few rattles while driving, although nothing that affected the van mechanically or prevented us from using it.
The biggest issue for us was the air conditioning. We rented this in Florida during the summer, and the front AC struggled to keep up with the heat. The rear AC did not work at all. With eight adults and a baby in the van, that made some of our drives pretty uncomfortable.
Overall, the van served its purpose and got us where we needed to go without any mechanical problems. However, better communication and accuracy at pickup, disclosure of the airport parking cost, some basic maintenance, and especially properly functioning rear AC would have made the experience significantly better.

The AC was serviced day before your trip, it worked perfectly fine. You complained just to convince Turo to give you a discount
