The tires looked bald so I took the car to discount tire to get the tires checked during our trip. They measured the tread and it was down to 2/32. They said it was unsafe to be driving the vehicle. There also was a deep gash in the front passenger tire that I had them check out as well. They said that it was dangerous and it needed to be replaced immediately. I reached out to the owner to inquire about the spare tire and tire jack just in case I needed to change the tire during our trip. They weren’t even sure if there was a spare tire and they didn’t know where the tire jack was located. The tire pressure was between 10 to 25 psi below the recommended specifications for the vehicle. The brake pad notification came on during our trip stating that the brake pads need to be serviced. When I picked up the vehicle, the mileage was over the limit for the oil change. And the sensor for the back left tire is not working. It made for a difficult trip because I was constantly worried that something was going to go wrong and I had to stop multiple times to get the vehicle checked out and the tire pressure corrected.
It’s a decent vehicle and the communication wasn’t bad, but please make sure the owner has done the proper maintenance on the vehicle before you decide to rent it.

The car was taken to Big O after this Trip and it has 4 brand new tires. The guest was still wanting to use the vehicle for his trip and did not ask for a different vehicle. We take safety seriously and maintaining affordable and reliable rentals.
Good communication, easy pickup and drop off. This van model had a few more seats and less trunk space than we had planned on (actually had 13 total seats that were not removable), so I should have double checked that beforehand, but we made it work. The van had about 145k miles on it and understandably showed some wear inside, but everything worked and it was reliable on our long road trip. We especially liked having extra usb charging ports in the back rows. The price was less than other options so we were happy with it overall. Thanks!

Nice van the whole process was fairly easy.. The one thing is if the van is parked in the economy lot make sure you get on the shuttle for that color lot. The instructions say you can take either shuttle red or blue. But if you take the wrong color you may have to walk for a bit to get to the vehicle..
